What is the ordering criteria, Fred? Most upside? Best value? Most NFL ready? Most likely to make the team?

1) Cyrus. Absolutely love the pick
2) Brissett. Love his upside and intangibles
3) Mitchell. I think he can be a valuable weapon in our offense
4) KGH. Valuable ST player and I think he could have a bright future in a Deone Buchannan type role on D
5) Valentine. I think he will really impress, but not until year 2. He needs time to develop. Knighton replacement in 2017. Rare athletic traits
6) Thurney. I like his upside as a LG. not a tackle, IMO. Starter in 2017
7) J. Jones. My favorite UDFA. He may be a candidate to replace Ryan in 2017...or sooner
8) Lucien. Big upside.
9) Foster. Looks like a great fit for NE
10). Karras. Maybe the most overlooked draft pick, but a real solid player. Could push a guy like Kline or Tre Jackson for a spot.
11). LeBlanc. Love his physical play. He needs time to clean up his technique, though. I hope he gets through to the PS.

Gotcha

Yours is good. Why Jones after Brissett?

It's a tough call; they both look really good. In the end Brissett may prove more valuable, but the Patriots did the right thing to grab Cyrus first while they could (CBs are always in short supply) and were probably pretty happy to see Brissett fall to them.

Wow, Jonathan Jones as the second pick, wow. OK. He certainly has incredible measurables (even the bench press), but does that translate to production on the field? We shall see this summer; there should be some wild matchups with Mitchell and Lucien going up against Cyrus, Jonathan Jones, Leblanc, and V’Angelo Bentley.

Depends what you mean. I will set my criteria. Looking back on this class in 5 years who do i think i will look at as the best players

Hits

#1 Cyrus Jones - I think he will be a good player and be opposite Butler for years to come.
#2 Jonathan Jones - I know it is unusual to put an UDFA as #2 but i was high on this kid as a late round steal and now i have him as an UDFA steal. He can play. I don't care about his height.
#3 Malcolm Mitchell - Not a great but solid outside option. Will be a staple as as 4th read and threaten for 1000 yards every year after this one.
#4 Joe Thuney - this guy reminds me a bit of Jeff Saturday and Rob Nink. Not great talent but a smart player that by sheer force of will and effort becomes a solid player. Will be a guard here for 10 years without many complaints.

Bust

Valentine - I don't mind the pick. He has a lot of good measurables and is worth taking a risk for but i don't think it works out
Bissett - I just don't see what Bill saw. Maybe he just wanted to take a shot on a talented kid as a position that will be uncertain in the coming years. This one misses i think but worth a try

Wildcards

DJ Foster - I have no idea. I think he can be a good player for the Pats but IDK if he can stay healthy at his size. I like the pickup though. Reminds me a lot of Lewis which is why i liked him months ago. Hope we fulfills my more wild expectations and actually gets on the field a little.

IDK if we can get a STer out of this draft but it would not surprise me as that spot is going to be opening soon.

Everyone else is likely off the team and a low pick so i won't rank them but Lucien i think has a shot to surprise the most of any of them.

Cyrus Jones (the only player coming within even one full round of being drafted at his true value) …

…Everybody else

What information do you have now that would make you think any different than the order BB drafted them?

Cyrus Jones (the only player coming within even one full round of being drafted at his true value) …

…Everybody else

The one mock draft I followed had him in the 7th, so even that wasn't a unanimous "true value."

I think Thuney, Brissett, and Mitchell were all drafted around when they expected. Don't think any of those were considered worse than 5th rounders.
