@JasonColeBR
Source said that #Patriots interest in RB Arian Foster is "just preliminary."

Slow offseason and the other thread was derailed.

Hmmm, so while he was in town for something totally unrelated to anything Pats, maybe the Pats should have had him stop by and save himself a trip.

congratulations for the smart move (i was just going to suggest it)
maybe a.foster is not what he used to be (or maybe he is)
but he has a right to his thread!

If he can do 99% of what he did in this clip they need to sign him immediately.

He'll only carry it 10-15 times a game max.

Its worth it.

How do you know his trip was totally unrelated to the Pats?

Wouldn't be surprising if it's his agent trying to spark interest. I'd be down for bringing him in for minimal guarantee dough though.

Yes, and the media certainly never gets anything wrong.
The Patriots don't care enough to refute anything, so it makes it all the more easier to make up stories.

Credit to @Danger Zone for the original thread, we will just post all Foster talk here going forward.

I'm split. He's not really a power back which is what I would prefer but he does seem to find a hole to get through.

Was that from last year? Certainly seemed to do a good job planting his foot and making tough yards on a play or two, had good burst. I never realized he was that good out of the backfield tbh. Granted the Achilles is a massive question mark, but if he's 90 percent of that and a low cap hit? Why not? Yes, he isn't getting any younger, and yes he's been injury plagued of late. Seems worth a shot to me, but what do I know.

I hear you. I can live with Blount but with this line I think the team needs a guy who can get to the hole a little quicker and be physical at the second level.

Just not confident the line can hold its blocks....yet

Yea Oct, 2015.

Agreed...Achilles injuries are hard enough for 340lb DTs like Wilfok to come back from. Can't imagine how Foster rehabs from it.

Like I said, if he can do that, it's an upgrade over Blount. If he can't, then no need to discuss.

Can you spray a little of this stuff to protect the thread?

That doesn't work if you just use it on just one thread. You need to use it on the entire forum. Every little post, thread, help thread, anything. Every little crevice, otherwise we'll have more nuked threads.

Trust me on this.

Sign Ray Jennings.

Think of him as Lewis insurance because Lewis always gets IR'd every season. See Lewis as insurance for him because Foster has gotten IR'd quite a bit lately.

So maybe between the the 2 of them you get some good production. If both stay healthy, watch out. Lewis AND Foster in the backfield. Plus DJ Foster? Yuppers.
