I know, I'm just some random guy on the internet so the truth is you shouldn't care what I do or don't believe. Perhaps we can at least agree on that.

I'll watch and it will be a little less stressful than usual because I'll have a built in excuse in case they lose.

And they better not lose!!!!!

Sounds great. Glad you were able to succinctly respond to my post, which was absolutely appropriate to your dbag response.

My response was fine. Your position regarding the league not giving a **** about losing the fans of a top 5 market is, indeed, fascinating, among other words.

You've now needlessly doubled down on being a **** (your word). Congrats on that, I guess.

Everyone will watch, as much as it sucks, we are all slaves to the NFL

I am not a slave to the NYJFL. I will watch the games as long as Tom Brady is a member of the team. After that I'm D.O.N.E. DONE!

Oh I am still supporting the team 100%. I hope they kick AZ's asses up and down the desert. It will be a bummer not to watch the game live (except missing out on the 1,000+ references to Brady's suspension as Deuce pointed out) but I will watch the highlights as long as I don't have to watch them on an NFL sponsored channel or site. I want to hit the NFL the only way I know how - by lowering their ratings a bit. If enough people join me, then maybe the money-driven NFL owners will think about replacing their corrupt commissioner. Otherwise I am supporting the way they have punched me in the face and laughed about it. It was a story when the draft got a putrid rating around here a few weeks ago. It will be a bigger one if the Patriots opening game gets a similar putrid rating. I am not kidding myself though - it probably won't.

But more than hurting the NFL I want to make myself feel better. My blood pressure actually goes up when I read about Brady's suspension. The NFL has taken one of my best escapes from the pressures and frustrations of life and turned it into another stress and frustration, made worse because it is based on a sham and lies. I need to distance myself from that. I pay thousands of dollars each year for Pats season tickets. It used to be a no-brainer even though it costs a lot. This year I hesitated, but renewed anyway because I love watching Tom Brady play. If I had known the suspension was going to be back on, I would not have renewed. I don't know what to do with my tickets to the first two games at Gillette if Brady isn't there. What I really want to do is leave my seats empty, but I have already paid for those seats and it pisses me off that Kraft and the NFL already have my money. I will probably sell the tickets. Never done that before.

I'm with you 100%.

It isn't really about sending a message to the NYJFL. I doubt that they care anyway, as long as the cash keeps flowing. It's about not being played for a fool. Why would I watch a game that is being fixed by the administrators of the league at the expense of the best QB who ever played the game?

I still think it's a moot point though and that Brady is going to be playing.

What you mean IF Tom Brady gets suspended? Berman's ruling wil be upheld.

No. No Fifth Quarter. I could probably script those anyway. I'll watch the team play football then go about my life.
"It was a good game. They're a tough opponent. We've got plenty of things to improve on. We have to get right to work tomorrow. We're on to {Miami:Houston:Buffalo}"

Hmmm...does that mean you're a bandwagon fan? ;)

I'll watch, but on an internet feed from England, so I not only see the game, but have the satisfaction of not being subjected to commercials that pay the NFL.

I've been a fan of the Pats since the day they were born. My Dad took me to my first game at Fenway Park where I watched them play against Ernie Ladd and the SD Chargers. Call it whatever you want.

Been a Pats Fan since the mid 60's, when I switched from the Cleveland Browns, have been listening to them for years and watching them whenever they have been on TV.. no reason to change now. Do not think I have missed a game since I can remember...

I am a "bleed blue" Pats Fan, not watching will have no impact on anything except depriving me of this pleasure.. those sack cloth and ashes days are long gone.

Yes! I need to see what garapolo can do.

Remember that kid in grade school who always said, " nanny nanny boo boo"? And who later in middle school switched to saying, "I know you are but what am I?"

Well in case you were wondering what happened to that kid, he grew up grew taller and is now posting "you're going to watch" on a forum.

**** no, but I'll probably have a Pats jersey on that day to show support (most likely #12).

Sure! But you're going to watch .... You know it, I know it, everyone here knows it
