OK, no problem! BTW, I was going to change your income tax bracket from 25% to .25%, but now that I know you don't consider the difference meaningful...;)
I understand what you mean and sure, if people really want to get picky about the placement of the % point good for them and I'll accept that but the fundamental point is exactly the same.

Pray tell, how would the NBA get away with that when all of those teams were either too good to get lottery picks or, even better, playoff teams during that time period? Cleveland was not that.
In the "controversial" 2014 lottery, Philly, Boston, NY, Orlando, and the LA Lakers were all in the lottery. Any one of those teams would have been a better selection than Cleveland from a rating standpoint.

It's not being "picky" to be off by a factor of 100.

Seriously, dude, just admit you were wrong. You would look a lot less foolish than trying to tap dance around the whole thing.

Some people just can't fathom that things are not on the up and up. It's in their DNA to it never question authority. It is so it shall be is their code.

That's what we are seeing here. It is AMAZING how DM's tweet is so easily dismissed. It's borderline disturbing and comical at the same time. It's as if it never happened. Instead people are making excuses and basically calling him dumb (listen to WEEI right now). It's almost as if some have been told to deflect.

You well and truly know exactly what it was I was saying. If you insist on me admitting I was wrong to put the % point where I did, fine, I accept that. I was wrong to put it as .017% but that does not change the premise, not one bit.

It changes the point a HUGE amount to go from 1.7 chances in 100 to 1.7 chances in 10,000.

It was also that lottery where it was apparent that LeBron was coming back to Cleveland. Giving Cleveland that pick and Wiggins, as a result, gave them a trading chip that they could use to pull in Love. You're moving the goal posts now, though. And LOL at Orlando. There was only one year in the three that they won the lottery where you could say with a straight face that they honestly had the best chance to win it and that was the year they got Irving. Instead, they won it in three out of four.

24 hours ago, all the conspiracy theorists said LA would win. Philly won instead, in what was the most likely single outcome. Now they are all crying "CONSPIRACY!" anyway.

I was actually surprised the Lakers didn't win it.

Obviously if it were the Lakers picking at #1, it would have been fixed. So the NBA decided to fix it such that it wouldn't look so suspiciously fixed, dropping the Lakers down to #3. But then the NBA decided that this second fix would look suspiciously fixed, dropping the Lakers to #3, so they raised the Lakers to #2.

Thus if the Lakers had gotten the 1st pick, the second pick, or the third pick, we'd know that the draft lottery had been fixed.

Then again, if the Lakers had totally dropped out of the top 3, it would have been completely obvious that they were fixing it to make it look less likely that the fix was in.

We need to cover all possibilities, since these are such dirty fixers.

/sarcasm off

I figured it might be a little difficult for you to simply forward thanks for acknowledging .017 is the decimal form representation of 1.7% and leave it at that. Instead, you simply couldn't so I'll provide you with the courtesy of letting you know you're now on my ignore list. I admitted my % placement error and you kept at it. Good riddance.

You're right. Everything is on the up and up in the NBA.

I had Philly/LA 1-2. It's about trade capital. Both Ingram and Simmons will be busts. Simmons because he doesn't have a good attitude and Ingram because he's gonna get destroyed because he is a twig. The skinniest dude I've ever seen. All that being said they can trade it to done other dumb team for a real player.

There's a storyline for every team having the lotto rigged for every #1 pick. I don't think it's rigged anymore.
Yeah, I feel like the NBA already has the storylines that it wants. If it were fixed, no doubt LA would've been number one.

Even if it was rigged, it was rigged so that teams would select where they deserve to select. It could be worse.

He is from Africa I believe, which is on the other side of the international dateline. So technically he could have been watching from tomorrow, or is it yesterday?
