Let's settle down and try and turn the discussion to looking toward whether or not he'll be ready for July and who might get respond the most to extra snaps and emerge if Edelman misses time in camp. Arguing over what was said and the quality of apologies won't change anything.

Thanks for the confirmation.
If your posts are any indication of your maturity level, I'm guessing you're not old enough to have made yours yet. Your Confirmation, that is...

I'm not as concerned about training camp as I am about the longer term. Edelman cuts as hard as any player I've seen and his feet could go at any time. Tough injury for them to deal with, they are going to have to keep quality depth at the position all the time because it's a vital piece for Brady to have.

looks some owe christian an apology. as suspected it was tune up surgery and not much else.

after that, it has been a lot of puritan handwringing. lmao

Edelman was just named #87 on the NFLNs Top 100, he's certainly more valuable than that but lost 7 games so it's understandable. Even watching the clips it's so clear that he's just a complete winner, and his leadership is critical in game, he never gives up. He's joined guys like Faulk, Bruschi, Mankins, Brown, Harrison, Wilfork, Gronk Mayo etc.... As heart and soul players who are integral to winning. Stats will never quantify what they really mean to the team. He's become one of my favorite all time players and I hope he overcomes the foot issues because he would be a huge loss at any time.

I'm an old lion...I'm not apologizing to ANY Christian at this point.

I WILL be in NYC next week so I'm more than willing to stop in "Pounce" or whatever it is and buy poor devastated Christian a "Virgin Mary" or two.

That 14 season was remarkable. And Edelman staying upright and in games was a big part of that. He's clutch and we need him right to get back to the top.

I hope this'll be the last setback for a few years. Though I fear his intense style might lead to more injuries as he hits 30...

No!

Oh Geez, I'm sorry for that outburst. I don't know what came over me. I'll go to my room now.

Hopefully he is kept out as long as possible. Foot injuries are not something to rush back from especially after a second surgery.

imo your apology was not proportionate to that outburst. I've docked you -50 patsfans rating points.

I think you at least owe him a Shirley Temple. Now shake his hand, say you're sorry, and play nice from now on.

Sounds like the Patriots aren't being forthcoming with injuries again...I say we submit this post to the NFL front office. I'd say it's enough proof for punishment.
Wow, someone actually disliked the post? Get a life, dude. LOL

in related celebrity Pats fans news...Fnerdcircle was seen spotted at a retro-Tubes costume party held at Henry's Heiny Hotel...dressed as Quay Lude he took home first prize in the lead swinger category..........

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm going to assume that this was not the foot that Edelman had injured in the past. Is that correct? I'm sure we'd have heard it plenty of times if it had been.

How many pages of denial were there in this thread?

I thought from reports at the end of the season surgery wasn't needed? Guess those were just smoke screens

Plus JE has only 1 season where he played in all 16 games..you can always count on him being out for a few games a year...pretty much a given. So hopefully it's in the beginning half and not during the playoff run
