Which is the reason I have trouble believing the entire story. Given how Jules buys fully into the "Patriot Way" I don't see how he would parade around the fact that he recently had surgery instead of laying low. Again, it is not some walking boot but according to you an elevated, motorized device.

I don't care that Edelman is not as famous as Beckham Jr. but he is definitely among the 100 best known NFL players at this point, right now after getting a lot of exposure since the SB season.. especially in a "sports" bar.

But, whatever, lets assume Jules start the season on PUP. Trying to see a silver lining, I honestly don't think it is a bad thing for McD, Brady and the other receivers if they have to go through the pre-season and TC without Edelman. A window of opportunity to work on alternative offensive schemes.

I guess everyone will see at some point or another. I'm sure it will come out that he had a boot on his foot this offseason.

I think it's more likely that you saw someone you thought was JE11 with a boot on than it is that it was Edelman. He was at an event with Kraft the night before with media present with no report of any boot, and he wouldn't have had surgery Sunday and gone out Sunday night. It simply makes no sense that you are the only person on earth that has witnessed Edelman in a boot, with no other report in 10 days since then.

You're right. Time will tell.
But, just to be clear, you didn't just say that he "had a boot on his foot" this past Sunday, but you said that: "Julian Edelman came in on a motorized device that he controlled that had his foot elevated on it and with a big boot on his foot."
That's saying a lot more than that he was wearing a boot at some point during this offseason.
