Not saying Danny should'nt have protected his own interest....just meant that this whole process has made fans like me worried whether he would get cut

Okay, I agree with that. I figured the Pats would just eat it this year and cut him next year if they couldn't restructure, but I want him around!

I honestly thought he was a goner with malcolm mitchell getting drafted.

Edelman, amendola, hogan and mitchell look like a good group of WRs.

Not to mention other targets like gronk, bennett and lewis. :D

A season or 2 ago I would have never thought I would be saying this but I am really glad to hear Danny will be sticking around for 2 more seasons. He contributes a lot as a slot WR and on STs.

Yes!! This is great news, 3.7ish million a year is fair value for his worth to the Patriots offense knowing he could get more than that on the open market (maybe even a lot more).

I have a hard time not keeping Martin.

Agreed. It's pretty much a dependable depth WR vs. players that might have higher upsides in Dobson, Harper, Lucien, and Wilson. If one of them could do something in camp that'd be nice but Martin probably takes the last spot.

edit: Forgot about Washington. Dang we have some depth.

Nice. I was starting to get worried he might get released.

Hopefully another SuperBowl or two will make the paycut well worth it.
