"The suit seeked no monetary compensation."?
Really, this is what it's come to?
Oh, and Kraft should sell the team.
we shall see how fast the season ticket holders disappear
they won't. not until the team is no good anymore
It's harder to be an apologist for him if that's correct.
Dumb lawsuit but this is just going to be perceived as him standing up for the NFL. Dumb as ****.
I'm thinking more Vidkun Quisling.
As the person who started the infamous sh*t thread about Bob Kraft a couple of months ago, I wasn't even willing to call him a traitor or a sellout back then. I was merely disappointed in him and struggling to forgive him for a self-admitted mistake.
Silly me. Bob Kraft is a flaming pile of dog poop. There was absolutely no reason to get involved in this suit - he wasn't even needed - and this is a man who is supposedly pitying himself about an unfair reputation for not fighting for his fans.
I've gone from "Bob Kraft is an overall good owner who made one of the greatest gaffes/back stabs I've ever seen" to "Bob Kraft must have fooled us for many years into thinking he wasn't a money-grubbing elitist."

There's been an update to the WEEI article:
"[UPDATE 1:40 p.m.: After getting further clarification on the matter, Robert Kraft was never quoted. The above quote was in the lawsuit where Kraft is listed, but is not a quote from him. Any assumption that the Patriots and Kraft are on the NFL’s side with losing draft picks is not true.]"
Hold your horses, ladies and gents...

Well, I'm glad you have a sense of humor. I was concerned.
It is possible to be both a good owner and a money grubbing elitist.
Well at least Bob wasn't calling for Brady to just accept the Defamegate punishment and move on....
So he has THAT going for him....
Which is nice....
That makes better sense. Even if BK is ready to be a full on, 100%, "we have sinned!" RG suck up, coming out at this point to take the side against a few Patriot fans in a lawsuit that has about a .000001% chance of succeeding would be indicative of only one thing and one thing only, insanity. Seriously, short of some sort of twisted backroom deal with the NFL it would be madness to take a public position like this. Even though BK was and still is siding fully, 100%, 'anything you say Rog' there still would be absolutely no upside whatsoever to publicly joining the NFL's side in a lawsuit that is DOA to begin with.

Let it be clear. ANYTIME an owner goes against his fans in court, no matter what the reason (outside of actual harm to the fanchise) is is time to reevaluate. A PatsFans conglomerate takeover?
