Felger... likes the Pats draft?!?!

I think it is fine and in line with Felger's thought process which is not wholely inaccurate but very broad based.

Felger does not study the draft. He knows almost nothing about the prospects but likes it when certain positions are picked. He is right in the grand scheme that QB was a good pick and was happy it was higher. To Felger higher pick = better player which though usually true is not always. a 3rd round QB this year could be worse than a 4th round next year but Felger doesn't see it that way.

Also he is correct RB is highly overvalued and particularly between the tackle RBs. Much better overall is the small guy who can bounce outside and get 30 yards on occasion and catch balls than the consistent 4 yards and a cloud of dust kind of guy.

Overall Felger is right how he views the forest on the draft but if you don't know the trees in front of you then it isn't all that accurate usually.

No problem admitting I love the Felger and Mazz show. While I think they try too hard to be contrarians sometimes it's an entertaining show to listen on my commute home. I would be bored to tears listening to to two fans who never questioned anything.

There's a fine line between questioning everything and nothing lol. To each their own I guess. I can't listen for more than five minutes every two years. Last time I had them on they were complaining that nobody likes the victory parades and the Patriots don't want to be there.

If I had picked women based on judgement or say, emotional stability, I'd have so much more money and so much fewer kids.

I never really cared about Felger. He's a contrarian but mostly OK. There's worse local media guys than Felger, aka Shaughnessy.

But he was very insufferable during deflate gate (still is) trolling or not.

I'll always remember Felger arguing vehemently against the trade for Randy Moss because he was all washed up. Felger is a contrarian and a fool.

2 is wrong. He likes drafting as many QB as possible not to use them as trade chips but because he recognizes the tremendous importance in having a good QB in todays game. Without one you are screwed. And unless you have a top 1 or 2 pick that you can use on a 'can't miss' star it's a complete crap shoot drafting them so you should draft as many as you can over the years until you find The Guy.

Felger just likes trolling Pat's fans. The easiest way to do that on that given day was to pretend to like the draft.

Yea...I didn't think Moss was washed up but I had other concerns. Clearly those we not an issue for 3 years here.

I haven't listened to Felger and Mazz in well over a year, and never intend to ever again.. I know exactly what their shtick is, and I'll forever remember tuning into Comcast Sportsnet after the Pats beat the Seahawks when I was scrolling through channels for post-SB victory coverage.. he was on with Dan Koppen, Troy Brown and someone else i think, and Felger looked like someone killed all of his family pets right infront of him... He didn't look happy at all, he was upset.. and im guessing thats because he loves to crap all over BB and the team all the time, but with a SB victory he knew he wouldn't be able to get away with as much of his nonsense as he had been..

This is the guy that during the 2014 season was non-stop flapping that hole in his face about how the Patriots need to trade Brady immediately, that he was done and they needed to move on from him.. well we all know how that ended.

**** Felger and Mazz... obviously everyone has a right to post about them here, but I really wish they didn't!

Honestly, I can't believe anyone still listens to him. I have not tuned into the Sports Hub since Jan. and frankly I don't miss them.
