any love for glenn gronk?

So I just realized, between Malcolm Mitchell and Martellus Bennett, the Pats now have TWO children's book authors. That's gotta be some kind of rule violation... Someone call Harbaugh ASAP!

I liked Braxton Miller but BB chose to strengthen the OL.
A draft move that keeps Brady off his butt? I'm ok with that.

Miller was taken before the Malcolm Mitchell pick, so you can't say the Pats rated MM higher than BM.

I was intrigued with Boehringer as well but Minny took him near top of the 6th, before our comp picks.

I'd like to see us draft a RB, maybe another OL. Hey, maybe we'll take little Gronk late 6th or in the 7th?

They needed to unload some picks. They had no 4th next year. So, they moved to next year. I don't know why some can't see that. It's quite puzzling.

Oh, so they just wanted to give away picks. Too bad, because they could have got the eighth pick in the 5th round for some 6ths and 7ths.

Oh wait. They already did. That wasn't a good trade?

They can't get a good fourth round pick next year, that's why. Unless you expect both the Patriots and Seahawks to tank the same year.

They probably moved up 9 or 10 spots to give up a whole year.

Let's root for the Seahawks to stink this year, it would be nice to have a higher 4th rounder instead of 4-#29

**** you Roger, I hope you die choking in your own vomit and poop

Core is a good WR, nice pick by the Bunguls

We'll get the lowest 4th regardless. But at least we get a 4th.

1. Perhaps they looked at the player they were going to take was suddenly gone or might not make the team when the Seahawks came calling. Idk.
2. Saw value in filling a gap in next years draft. No pick from end of 3rd round to end of 5th.

Lost a year to gain probably 9-10 spots. No way you can spin that as value.

After day 2, Caserio admitted that the Pats had more day 3 picks than they would like because of how full the roster is. Turning two 6ths and a 7th into a 4th next year an a 7th accomplishes that quite nicely.

196 to 129 is a lot more than 9-10 picks, and that's where they moved from.

I get that some people say there isn't much Kraft could've done and I somewhat agree on that. But we could agree he could just stop talking tough at least ? The false bravado is just frustrating, I'd rather they just say we got hosed and that's it.
He needs to stop backing Goodell. I can live with that. He isn't doing a fan****ingtastic job if he's accusing the guy you claim is telling the truth (which of course Tom is telling the truth) of perjury.

Maybe 9 spots higher than this years fifth.

It doesn't matter. Caserio said yesterday they wanted less picks this year. Now they get an extra pick next year when there'll be more need. The roster is pretty full this year and a 5th rounder probably won't make the team. A 4th rounder next year almost certainly will.

Did you hear Caserio last night? He openly stated they had to move picks because they needed the roster room. I can only assume you either didn't hear it or thought he was lying.

So, I'd rather have a 4th next year even if it's at the end because they don't have one period. Since they let it be known they needed to move, I think they did fine.

It's a debate between a late 4th next year and an early 5th this year. Big deal.

Looks like it's Cannon next year at swing tackle unless Thuney can end up there.

Damn I thought that rule was to apply only in the 1st. So I hope BB ship that pick before the positions are settled, ship that 4th plus a player for a 3rd next year. Our roster are stacked, there will be some painful cuts.

Which team needs O-lineman, I heard that Cannon dude is a real gem.

You are aware that there were 9 fourth round comp picks this year, with a similar number in the past? It's closer to a 20 spot jump.
