2016 Draft Day 3: Rounds 4-7 Thread

A "high character" WR with an injury history.

The fact that some Pats fans still want a Mike Wallace type WR is annoying. They've won 4 SBs without a Wallace type player.

Besides, if they want a deep guy, Nate Washington's exactly that. He's averaged 15.2 yards per reception over his career, exactly the same as Mike Wallace and 4 more than Hogan and Martin and 5 more than Edelman and Amendola. Last year his average per catch was higher than Hopkins on the same team.

And, unlike Wallace, he can run more than one route. That's why, unless Washington totally falls apart a la Joey Galloway or gets injured in camp, I don't see any possibility he isn't on the opening day roster this season.

And lost 1 SB WITH one.

Well, if it weren't for that comfort level, they'd have lost the second-best player they've drafted this century.

Gronk was cleared.

Mitchell was having knee issues at the Sr Bowl.

WTF is it with this team and its level of comfort drafting players with ACL/medical issues.

Still having issues at the Sr. Bowl???? Gawd.

Someone calm me down

You're not going to get a guy with star potential at this point in the draft without red flags. The fact that the few scouting reports I've read in that past 5 minutes say he could be great has me excited.

One 2013 ACL tear does not a history make. If there are more things then someone please let me know.

I always wonder if TB has any input. I mean isn't he the main guy to ask?

Some decent WRs available today that haven't really been mentioned in this thread yet:
Bro if we could land Charone Peake, Devon Cajuste ( want him to be that Hybrid In-line TE!), Keyarris Garrett speedster vertical threat!! :)
Charone Peake
Malcolm Mitchell
Keyarris Garrett
Kolby Listenbee
Rashard Higgins
Pharoh Cooper
Daniel Braverman
Kenny Lawler
Ricardo Louis
Devon Cajuste
Devin Lucien

and more.

His upside is exciting- no question.

I'm reading he had a creaky knee at the Sr Bowl.

I'm not sure why there is a need for a down the field type receiver. Brady works best close to intermediate. Surrounding him with receivers who match up to that skillset makes the most sense to me.

To be fair, he still had 55 catches last season, so it couldn't have slowed him down that much.

Colts- Hassan Ridgeway

So I didn't really follow the draft class this year - just listened to some of the chatter here. I heard this name constantly. How did he last so long?
