It was the Herald, the player was Zeke Mowatt and the writer, Lisa Olsen now is a columnist for the New York Daily News.

Hey shmussy...did I say it was "not far" from what Borges was doing, or did I say there was no difference?

Also, what is the difference in providing a "blue bold" link versus what Borges did? The Globe responded with "Borges’s column, like other sports "notes" columns in the Globe, contain a line at the bottom, reading, "material from personal interviews, wire services, other beat writers"...does this BSMW site mention the same? Is there a way to click on a link while reading a newspaper on the "T"?

As I was saying, "not far" from what Borges was doing....those plagiarist bastids!

BSMW: Direct attribution, naming the source and providing a direct link.

Borges: WORD FOR WORD plagiarizing and then at the end of 6 pages making a GENERAL attribution that SOME stuff came from 'other places'.

Are you even in the ballpark?

This is pathetic..i love listening to weei as i'm out of town and it keeps me up do date. However i emailed weei about having bogus on and (as expected) it didn't help. However dale and holley starts today and meter comes on talking about how just about everyone came up to him over the weekend and complained that they shouldn't have bogus on, they wouldnt' listen, ect....so what does weei do: they talk about it, welcome him, and give him the first 10 minutes to explain his side of the story....now he's onto ripping that pats (didn't see that coming

) about the asante situation.

I agree in spirit, but by the same token, are we so deprived of Pats discussion that we would listen to a person who is so emotionally unstable that he has been completely discredited in his chosen profession? What could he possibly offer besides more of the same - abject personal hatred for Bill Belichick and Scott Pioli masquerading as 'opinion'?

I do NOT listen.....I can not..when WRONG was on with Felger I listened for a few minutes..until I got a headache..and saw how much BS was going around..then I turned it off...usually there is an empty cup that I have in front of me...when the dumb statements of baloney pile up..the cup runneth over and the station moves away...

I listened to the beginning...he said he though BB was a great coach, but hated the way he dealt with people. Then he went on a tirade about how the pats screwed themselves by not signing Branch to big bucks last year and that signing all these receivers this year proves his point. (it's about $$$ bogus, they wanted to keep branch). He then proceeded to talk about how the pats mismanage their money and that's why they don't sign certain people.

I stopped listening though as the BS continued endlessly
