Ha, just as I predicted

Slot corner. Kendall Fuller was still available - far better grades before the injury.
Jones had a great three-cone, small, agile, quick.
Punt returner. Prone to holding penalties.

Jones said he watched so much film at Alabama they joked he should have an office with the coaches.

Nice pick. I think like most, I had it as a T, RB or CB early, in no particular order.

In the modern NFL you need 3 good corners. Look at Denver Talib, Harris, Roby

Logan Ryan insurance or, more likely, a possible replacement after 2016.

If he can solve his fumbling problems, he could take over return duties.

That 4th is next year. So we get to live it again a little bit a year from now again.

Loved his attitude in the conference call.

I know some say he's short but here's the official heights :

Butler : Height:5096
Jones : Height:5097

I guess we really needed an Arrington replacement, and BB thinks this guy is it?

Rated for the 4th round. Hopefully this is a wonder-reach pick ala Vollmer instead of a bang head on the wall reach like Terrence Wheatley, Ras-I Dowling, or Tavon Wilson.

Excellent return man, he was a former receiver, so he's got that offensive mentality when he has the ball in his hands. Reminds me of the Cardinals Honey badger a little bit.

He's the same height as Butler and played outside at 'Bama.

Other than that, yes.

I am not impressed, this guy doesn't stand out, we shall see how he does in pre season.

I saw a few mock drafts that had Jones going to the Patriots with one of the two second-round picks, so I don't know if it qualifies as a Wilson-esque pick.

Cyrus Jones was one of the most Patriot-y prospects in the draft.

Dowling may have been a bust but be wasn't a reach.

Was projected as high as a late-1st and low as a 2nd

I wonder if the Cyrus Jones pick says anything about Amendola's future on the team. Jones' punt return ability is a key part of people's evals of him.
