Friend who is a Jets fan watched 6 games of NC State last year (one of his betting teams) and is pissed the Jets took Hackenberg over him. :D

I won't rest until Bill drafts a blocking fullback who specializes in special teams. But he must be from Navy or Rutgers only.

You're in luck - fullback Chris Swain of Navy has been linked to the Pats based on pre-draft contact.

Competition for Grop is a great idea ... it's really a decent pick for many reasons.
If he turns out better than Grop all the better .........

There's no way. He got beat out by a guy who didn't throw the football in high school at Florida so he transferred.

He did some good things at NC st and his team sucked around him but still no excuse
Maybe they'll use Brissett as a running back, from the videos I've watched, pretty shifty runner for a QB. Maybe he's the next Braxton Miller, make him a big WR. Maybe Jones goes back to WR ? I don't know, just trying to justify the picks.

Gotta love Belichick, doesn't give a **** what anyone thinks, the draft is his own personal playground and he doesn't care if you don't get the joke. "Just pickin the guys I think will make the team better".

Like the Jones and Thuney picks. Brissett ? At least the Pats didn't take a place kicker or place kick holder.

He's not that fast

Didn't they also like a Navy QB they're gonna convert to an OLB?

So Brisket was in Florida before NC. Interesting!

Only pick I have a problem with is Brissett.

DT, OL and CB were needs.

I can't hate picks before they even play a snap because they aren't my binkies if I think that position was a need.

Get a RB with that 4th tomorrow and they'll have selected my top 4 positional wants I had coming in to this draft.

Brissett is actually a decent QB project...which could have been had tomorrow easily if they liked him.
Browns were interested. Other teams were interested in quarterbacks.

I can't believe people are mad that we picked a QB projected by some to be a 3rd rounder when the week 1 roster had one QB before tonight.
It's dumb. You want someone to realistically compete with Garapollo? Bring in a veteran. All this means to me is we are letting Garapollo walk when his contract is up.

I continue to be amazed at bb's ability to find duds in the third round. (Non-comp)

Somebody needs to drag bb out of the war room and lock him in the bathroom from the moment the third round starts until it is over.

In what reality do you honestly think Jimmy re-signs here? Just like Hoyer and Mallett he's gonna move on because the guy wants to start and Dallas, Houston and Cleveland always want former Patriots.

yup I was saying beofre he couldnt win the job over a scrub there
I'm more pointing towards the fact that Florida guys haven't been the greatest of attitudes for us as pointed by many pre draft and wanting to avoid Florida players.
