I agree Ashley, the Pats spent so much time last year trying to find a good third corner. Now this year you've got Jones who should be able to handle the nickel just fine, and you can let Ryan and Roberts compete for the #2 corner spot, the loser being the #4. Meanwhile, Coleman will be a great reserve. It's a good group.

I thought Coleman was starting to play very solid and then breaking his hand set him back. Played good in the divisional game though.

I'm alright with it. Kid loves to play. Coachable. Talent.

It will be huge not having Amendola or Edelman handling punts ... I get grey hairs on those.

Worked out well in SB 42.

No one in their right mind should have put him one on one versus Plaxico. Let's stop blaming Hobbs for that, that's on Dean Pees.

He had slot corner written all over him, and combined with his kick return ability he could have been a real valuable player. As it was, he was still decent, but played out of position a lot so became a whipping boy here for the CB problems - eerily similar to what happened with Patrick Chung playing a Tampa two style free safety much of the time his first go round. If they had a better guy who could have played outside, Hobbs could have thrived on the inside.

Maleik Collins goes before Bullard and Billings. Didn't think that would happen

Check me on this...we all agreed that the Patriots needed a CB, right? And Jones was a clear fit coming from Saban's defense, and a popular prediction on our own board's draft contest. And he's a smidgen bigger than Malcolm Butler.

Why is this safe, mainstream pick that fills a major need and projects to early impact being dismissed as "ridiculous"?

Oakman at #78

Jones is a productive ball hawk who is excellent at returning punts.

I will take a productive ball hawk, playmaker over a non productive player with great measurable any day.

3 3rds? If we can somehow snag Braxton Bullard and booker I would be Estatic. But my money is on Keenan Reynolds going to Us with one of those 3rds

I think it's time for me to accept the inevitable that they'll reach on Reynolds.

Absolutely agree. The negativity from some people boggles the mind. This was projected by many (though not myself necessarily) for some time. Shouldn't be much of a shocker but, oh well. No use trying.
