Draft Day 2: Official Rounds 2-3 Thread

Yup i was right - they took a special teams maven.

Well, I got so excited over Wilhite and Wheatley and talk of "loose hips" a few years ago that I will just let this one take some time to sink in.

Yuck (too short for a DB). But, at least he does not have a "injury history" (Ras-I-Dowling) OR a non-ranking (Tavon) DB..

Ellis Hobbs part II (who I liked and was a solid #2 CB)

Like the pick, although I expected it in the 3rd. But the run on DBs shows they thought we needed him now.

We lucked out last year with only Brown getting hurt at CB. If anyone else got hurt it would be a disaster. Now Coleman can spend some time on the outside, Jones can play a solid nickel, and has great special teams value. Happy with this. Plus I got my first non-Navy pick right in the draft contest!

NFL heights are weird. We know Butler is 5' 9¾", but he's listed at 5'11". Jones is an eighth of an inch taller, but listed an inch shorter.

I'm glad they did. I got to watch NYJFL* Network analysis and BSPN analysis when they came back from commercial.

HA! Literally was doing this when I saw the alert. I turned to the draft to see the Pats pick, lo and behold it jumps to commercial and I see the pick on here while ESPN is on commercial.

Or PR insurance to keep JE/DA ST's hits down. Also alleviates fears of another denver blunder...not bad for the back end of the second. Not sure we cut DA Manx, I'm thinking we try to limit his hits and keep him healthy, ditto for JE. I'm still big on the rb out of Georgia...projected 6th, size and speed baby.
