Tavon Wilson
Duron Harmon (though I like Harmon)
Jordan Richards

Three out of the last four drafts
Have to agree. Not in the best.

There's this other category . . . it's called playing for other teams. . . .

2011
1 Nate Solder = Patriots
2 Ras-I Dowling = Panthers (PS)
2 Shane Vereen = Giants
3 Stevan Ridley = Lions
3 Ryan Mallett = Ravens
4 Marcus Cannon = Patriots
5 Lee Smith = Raiders
6 Markell Carter = CFL
7 Malcolm Williams = out of league

Given that 2/3 of the players are still on someone's 53, I'd say that the worst you can say about this draft is that it was "solid." Yes, most of them are playing for other teams now, but you can't hold on to everyone. That's just the way the salary cap works.

3 out of the last 4 years.

It's not even being negative, it's just following recent draft patterns

3 AFFCCG appearances and a Lombardi over the same time, with teams built primarily on draft picks. Its safe to say Belichick knows a hell of a lot more about it than the idiot draftniks who constantly rip his drafts. And while I'm not saying that group includes you the griping about picks they haven't even made is one of their trademarks.

That's fair, but all I'm saying is that sometimes when you see a trend happen so often the last few years before, you expect that trend to continue.

Cody Whitehair and Derrick Henry please.

If Whitehair is gone, best available lineman please.

This is about the success or failure of the Pats Draft. It has no consequence on who the other Teams get. The only starter is Solder. All the others flamed out here and were replaceable pieces (Jags). Some might have had a good game or two but not enough to maintain on our roster. All were let go via cut or free agency the Pats choose to let go. Cannon I can't see making the roster either this year.
Would I be wrong here? The term applied is three years.

Henry/Ragland or Alexander.

Pipe dream

But it crops out the big hits like Gronk. Look, I'm not suggesting they are perfect but they have the best track record in football overall, and that's from two long term independent studies, and they carry much more weight than the griping of the Belichick haters. Once again I'm not lumping you in with them I just don't like negativity about things that haven even occured yet.

I definitely am not cropping out the picks like Gronk. All I was talking about was the safety trend, and nothing else

If they trade up to the top of the second round then I would want: ( both 2's)

Kevin Dodd. DE Clemson

Reggie Ragland LB Alabama

Noah Spence DE/LB E. Kentucky

Prediction

Pats trade out of 60 & 61 and the board goes into meltdown mode
Not only trade out but trade Down and into next year.

I saw it more as commentary on their second round picks.

True, to be fair it's too early to tell on Richards.

It is. I would love for him to improve. His football acumen and instincts seem to be top notch. Unfortunately, he also looked like he was running with 20 pound weights on each ankle in pursuit last season as well.

60 - WR Sterling Shepard
61 - RB Derrick Henry
91 - DE Charles Tapper
96 - DT Hargrave or Ridgeway or Collins

But my draft binky is DE Eric Lee from USF (thx manx)

all 4 will contribute almost immediately
