New info on Ragland - he wears #19. Unusual even for college LB, no? Well, the number 19 is considered a sign of the divine origin of the Quran in Islam. Easley type secret Muslim situation.

Cowboys get their pick of pass rushers at 34.

I don't think Cleveland will go with Cook with their first pick tomorrow. Would have made sense to trade up and get the 5th year.

Maybe they don't but have to think if Cleveland was trying to traded up for the 5th year than maybe the teams they were calling wanted more to give up their 5th year option.

Damn for some reason i was thinking it'd be soo..soo much WORSE AT THIS POINT! Lol. The surface has barely really been skimmed and i know BB's gunna atleast be on his B+ game tomorrow n the day after n were gunna come away with some bad azz studs!! ;). #FreeBrady

Gil Brandt said at the combine "that this draft was a Patriots draft"

Maybe. Cleveland have so many picks now, teams will ask for more than they usually might. Good point.

Cook to Cleveland? Naw...they already got a trade for Jimmy G lined up. Pick 33, Josh Gordon, and a #3 next year.
Or maybe there's a simpler explanation. . . .

Is that Keyshawn?

lmao what is this **** about Ragland?

This guy could be our Defensive Gronk.

I know we have other needs, but this guy is worth both our 2nd round picks. We've taken so many ricks in the past on 2nd round players, and considering we don't have a first, using two to trade up to get jack would be well worth it. This guy is our system would be insane. He can cover ANY type of player and do it well. In my eyes, he is the gronk version of elite Athlete, only at the line backer position, even more so then Collins, and thats saying a lot. He can also be a pound the rock running back, at worse a Blount replacement if he didn't pan out at as a 3 down LB. However thats not going to happen. Knighton sucking up the blocks, along with the rest of our front, and you have a crazy playbook of LB blitzes, stunts, and traps. Nearly impossible to game plan for. Lock up both Collins and Hightower for the next 5 years, and you have that trio of elite for long time.

Now that the first round is over, let's all let it settle in a bit. Minus moving up a bit, the Pats will sit and watch almost every team pick a player twice before they pick once. Most likely taking players they would like to have drafted. That really blows because it lessens the ability to get a player you may really want. Make no mistake, they will do their best but I feel the loss of the pick will be felt with the quality of players they can pick from. Maybe they get lucky and grab a Collins like player so we shall see. Still, the reality of it does kinda stink.

Reggie Ragland ..... Yes please

I don't think you realize how bad Jack's knee is.

I could accept the stolen pick. I cannot accept Brady being suspended. I am just so ****ing beside myself about everything that has happened this week.

I said he was my #1 player in the draft and I agree with your eval. He would be a beast here, giving BB so many options. It's risky giving up two seconds for him but if they traded 60+61 for him and a 4th/5th, I'd be all over that. But, Tennessee have three 2nds tomorrow. It makes absolute sense for them to risk one of them on him but if we ended up with Jack I'd be delighted.

I am starting to think, why not go all in on Jack and Jaylon (not before our 3rd round comp for Smith though)? It would be the ultimate FU to Goodell to come out with two of the best five players in the draft.

On the other hand, there are so many good players still available, there's a good chance standing pat could net us something really good.
