Why have neither the team or Brady put out a statement yet?

Goody is a complete idiot.

While the odds are certainty agsinst TB12 winning this thing, does he really believe he is going to stop fighting? Why risk the exposure ?

I kinda liken Goody's rhetoric to what Trump is doing as it relates to telling Cruz and Kasich to throw in the towel.

The issue is that TB12 has more fight and more realistic options than those clowns.

I don't get the last point about Trump. Kasich has won 1 state. 1. His home state. He should drop out. No one wants him. Cruz is a different story, but he can't win without it being contested anyway. So Trump is totally correct in regards to Fruit Ninja but not so much Cruz.

Why should they? To make us feel better? I'd rather he said nothing.

Re: Cruz- while a contested nomination is possible, I believe its a .001% chance in reality of having a successful execution .

Nothing from TB12 until there are no more legal options.

Roger Goodell spoke out already, on behalf of Robert Kraft and the other 31 corrupt owners in the NFL billionaires club.

I've been following the GOP Primaries pretty closely as I find your system particularly interesting and to me, it's amazing how many political commentators keep discounting Trump and telling him what HE SHOULD BE DOING rather than adjusting their focus and paying attention to what is actually happening. As for Cruz, he's not particularly likeable, in fact, he's downright nuts, and that's scary as a US ally.

There's really no similarity between Trump/Cruz/Kasich and Brady/Corrupt bastard.

so frustrating

our gutless leader probably doesnt even care.

Kraft has no bearing on Brady's defamation suit. Maybe he can help privately fund it, essentially suing himself, but even a threat of a 250 million dollar suit would rattle the NFL's cage, possibly lifting the 4 game suspension.

Facebook pic for the Pats page is back to Brady's number...hopefully more to come...

wow....

they changed their twitter/facebook. some club!!!

kraft = jellyfish bastard

Enough. Stfu

Changing a profile pic that will show the NFL, sorry for being cynical
Probably means nothing...but it does show it's not behind them and ready to move forward. But the Kraft's probably won't do ****. Hoping it's some sort of indication that Brady will announce a lawsuit soon.

I know it won't happen, but it would be awesome if they did something newsworthy when their pick should be up. Like announcing a dorito dink defamation suit.

Why?

The ball is in Brady's court. It's his name on the ruling and there's nothing in it for him to say or do anything at all until 14 days after the ruling was handed down, which is the extent of his window to respond if he is going to appeal.

Kraft is smart enough to know that anything he says is worthless in the eyes of the League, the fans or Brady, so he won't say anything publicly until Brady has spoken.

Uh... Brady said he was going to continue to fight
I don't think he's said anything for attribution, but it's been reported by people close to him that he is going to do so. He hasn't denied it, so I take that as reliable. But, he himself has been silent.

So, now, what form will the "fight" take? Brady has a wide range of options but he's really in no hurry.

I think it's important to remember that it's Goodell and the Owners who want to get this over with as quickly as possible but Brady is really in no rush, other than that he has to decide whether to ask for an en banc Hearing within fourteen days of Monday.

Otherwise, time is his friend. Make Goodell and the Owners sweat.

Brady Will/Must see this through. Him layin low is nothing new during this Witch Hunt*. Nothing good could come out of statements at this time especially with ongoing court hearings. NO ONE can be trusted in goodell*Camp*Mediots* etc so why give'm ammo. When Brady is ready his counsel will see fit to release it.

I would wager to guess the Patriots don't want to make a statement until Brady first makes his decision. He's got another 11 days to decide, so I'm sure we'll hear something soon.

Monday would be my guess, a full week since the incompetent decision was handed down.

Either way, at this stage in the game, talk is very, very cheap.
There's no reason for him to say anything until 14 days after the Ruling came down.

He's a savvy guy. He knows that anything he said this week or would say early next week would be drowned out by Draft and UFA hysteria. I don't expect to hear a word from his camp until the end of next week or maybe Monday the ninth.

It may not be the reason people here like but the truth is this time around the story is a very small fraction of itself. I live in a football town far away from Foxboro. Except for die hard NFLers on blogs this story was all but a side mention in the local media with hardly a mention since. I also haven't heard anything from NFL watching neighbors or coworkers. Side note: in fairness maybe it's only my own insular circle but I don't sense it is the case. It appears the story was played out to the average joe and few outside of the diehards cared. As a matter of fact this time around more seem to have some sense the whole thing was a bit silly.

As such, with the legal odds looking unpromising for Brady, and with the NFL far more silent on the issue(almost no propaganda blitz), even if Brady's decision to keep fighting is real the pragmatic move is to not add anything into the media. So unless Brady decides to fight this thing with a media bltiz of his own with Dorito Dinks speaking out, experts, specialists, investigators, produce text messages etc etc (which is probably not going to be successful), not commenting about it while letting the court filings work it out is what you all should expect.

You don't get 4 games for that. That's not intergrity of the game. So, he's lying.

You don't get 4 games for a lot of things but Goodell is just making it up as he goes along. Hence the lawsuit.
