Yeah, what an impressive man he is! You, me, and my pet monkey each could have made billions if Daddy kicked us a few million to start buying real estate in New York City in the 1970s.

And what is his latest and greatest accomplishment? Convincing life's losers that he shares their belief that it is the woman, the Muslim, and the Mexican that are the root cause of all of the country's, and said loser's, problems. Very impressive indeed.

And your alternative would be????? (Please eliminate any party that has killed or has had someone killed as an elected official to cover up scandals and corruption regardless of media coverup)

I love this mythology that fascism is a right wing construct. It's not. In fact, it's just a variant of socialism.

Any political system where the state has unbridled and unlimited power is 100% at odds with the conservative, republican, limited government philosophy of the far right.

Optimist me hopes it was Goodell telling Kraft "I know you're upset, but don't take it out on the NCAA kids this weekend...wait to make statements after the draft". Which I could actually see Kraft going for...focus away from the draft affects $$$. Nothing wrong with a Monday afternoon press conference.

However, that is totally not the case and I am sure Kraft has been muzzled by Goodell. I'm surprised he hasn't made him take down the context website yet.

My post was about the man, not about his politics, which nobody has any insight into whatsoever. And no, I don't find any of the alternatives appetizing either.

You are entitled to your opinion, but please don't invent a new myth to replace what you regard as a common one. The only thing socialist about fascism is that the German variant used the term National Socialism. Fascism is a form of authoritarian nationalism, where the state is above all and the rights of individual are subjugated to conformity and the denial of any opposition or appeal. It is as far from the rule of the people as you can get, in other words fascism is extremely undemocratic, and therefor anti-social.

However this is a football forum. My apologies for being tempted back into political debate, so let me return to the topic at hand.

Goodell is not a tyrant, nor is he a dictator. He is just a very weak puppet in the hands of the coterie of owners that disliked Kraft's rising influence on the commissioner, and the Patriots teams perennially dominating a system designed for parity. In meeting his masters' wishes, Goodell has displayed every weakness possible from perjury to defamation, and dishonesty through to dishonor. His legacy is the one that is most tainted of all the characters in this drama, though I suspect he lacks the imagination and cognition to recognize this. His father would be most ashamed, and must be turning in his grave.

I love all this talk in the Media of krafty BoB being "highly influential." how so? His team has been dragged through the mud twice...
Krafty had hugs W Jeff Saturday r. E. The coll bargaining, but if krafty BoB had so much influence don't ya think the series of events post 2014 afc title gm woulda been a bit different....perhaps the media thinks krafty BoB is "highly influential" because maybe, just maybe, krafty Bob TOLD them he was "highly influential"....
