Freeman: Other teams finally understanding DFG is bad for them

"I hate the Patriots. I despise them," said one NFC team executive, who like everyone else interviewed, asked to remain anonymous............

Do you think the hate may come from the Pat's insane win loss record over the NFC in these last 15 years?

WTF ever happened to class and good sportsmanship? "I hate the Patriots"?

I hate child molesters, murderers, people who abuse positions of authority. . . . and losers who hate professional athletes and sports teams.

I truly hope the Pats go 4-0 and just obliterate teams and then continue the punishment once Brady returns. This is ridiculous.

I hate the Jets and Colts.. although with the Jets the hate is more directed at their franchise, whereas the Colts the hate is more directed at their inbred fans

If the league didn't learn their lesson after the league manufactured witch hunts BountyGate and BullyGate why would they learn it over DeflateGate?
and if the nflpa didn't take Kessler's advice to go to the mattresses over the commissioner's power last time, what are the chances that they will next time?

This is what Richard Sherman said last summer. He gets it. If they can so this to the Pats/Brady, they can do this to anyone #idiots

Well, not exactly. The team has to have an owner who's willing to bend over and take it with merely a whimper, like Kraft has done. I doubt the league actually wants an owner to go rouge to the extent I would have done in his place.

Then what? Nothing will change. Pats will not get picks back. Brady will still be suspended 4 games. Move on or walk away from the games.

Any NFL team should beware of the power that they have given Goodell, and the situation has become even worse now that the court has ruled to uphold it. Where does it stop?

SNL should do a skit that goes completely over the top where Goodell declares prima noctus, then by the end it ends up with Goodell murderning players' children on a f-ing alter for the integrity of the game, with the courts stepping in to stop police and players from helping the children because Article 46.

Until the anonymous commentary becomes public lobbying, I'm gonna have to say, "who cares?"

Until it's owners rather than execs who are cited in articles like this, I'm gonna have to say, "Who cares?"

Glad to see that someone - anyone - out in the larger football world finally sees the core problem. Goodell is a random destruction machine that could as easily turm on them as on the Patriots. [Although, there is a certain bias at NYJFL HQ for preferentially bearing down on the Pats.]
The man is an ex-JET EMPLOYEE of course he has bias against the Pats. What he has done will help his ex employer's team compete in the AFC East. Dig deep enough into this and they may find the stench of the Jets organization all over this and the Baltimore Ravens too.

You can't really blame him, gang green is an awful disease. Bill was lucky enough to avoid letting it get to his brain.

Hopefully something gets going
