Robert Kraft should sell the team.

I'm kinda over being mad at Kraft about this
Why? Because he isn't doing/saying anything and you're just giving up? I can't STOP being mad at him over it. Kraft didn't generate this fiasco but he sure as hell fumbled, bumbled and stumbled his way through it while looking like a cross between Goodell's lap dog and a eunuch.

Kraft gambled the 'good will' he built up with the league as arguably their chief negotiator when he accepted the loss of draft picks. He also gambled with what he must have felt was an "understanding" between him and Goodell that the punishments would end there.

In short, kraft gambled that Goodell was his b!tch. He dared Goodell to screw him over with additional punishments and Goodell went ahead and did just that.

We might not know the extent of the damage this has caused in their professional and personal relationship, but I think Kraft would be a tough enemy for Goodell because he might really be able to rally the other owners to toss Goodell out. Let's not hold our breaths but maybe Kraft will go after Goodell.

Difficult to comprehend the level of anger at Mr. Kraft, who kept this team near Boston, built a great facility and let BB shop for the groceries..

His actions have no bearing on the legal woes of Brady, they are parallel issues and nothing that has been ruled on for Brady has been impacted by Kraft's actions..

He should have handled things differently, but unfortunately cannot take what he did back.. all he can do is work behind the scenes to make things different in the future.

Much of this anger is just wasted energy.. he what he is, part of the billionaire boys club who is a Pats fan.

Be a Mensch Bob and stand up for your most important player and call out the biased POS. If you can't turn the team over to someone who can and sail into the sunset.

Who may not be a Pats Fan, then move it to a different market as almost happened previously.

There are many here among us who do not have a clue as to how bad things were..

Kraft should set himself on fire.

And he can tell his gf that the best way to show her support for him is to immolate with him.

SOLIDARITY

you first.......right there at the main entrance to the stadium......that'll show some conviction

Already tried it after the loss to the Giants, turns out i'm impervious to fire . I guess that makes me fire ******ant.

Eh. I was disappointed in the beginning but never really "angry" at Kraft. I guess the league's behavior through this all is..."comforting" so to speak. It's comforting knowing that any attempt to get the picks back would have been futile anyway. Maybe that's just me. Whatevss

try again.......you'll probably get it right this time

"Roger is doing a great job........"
I believe some of the other owners have heard another prominent owner say that after other routine NFL League investigations that had severe penalties handed out.....

I wonder if those penalized owners (and John "Doucheface" Mara) recalled that owner saying that phrase when the whole De-pressurized Football saga occurred? I wonder....

I don't understand why anyone thinks that Johathan would acted any differently.

I agree. It was, after all, the Jr. Kraft who told us that at some point you had to realize the draft picks weren't coming back and it was time to move on. Imagine the howling had Big Daddy Kraft dropped that one on his fandom! It was another waving of the white flag, reasonable statement though it might have been, and frankly as a fan, I wanted the Krafts battling for those picks right up to draft day, making a fuss at every opportunity. Don't tell me that having the owners of one of your premier franchises *****ing on TV/Radio/Internet/Print for months on end would have had no effect. Jonathan Kraft's telling us to move on was every bit as wimpy as his dad's behavior.

Bottom line, and what bothers me the most about what Daddy Kraft did - he put the league before his supposedly beloved superstar QB when he caved at the owners meetings and said he wouldn't appeal the Deflategate punishment. I can't believe he didn't realize his actions would make Brady look bad. Given his shrewd handling of public opinion over the years Kraft had to know his folding would stain the greatest player he'll probably ever have on his team, possibly the greatest QB to ever play. For that Kraft should apologize but it's something he can never put back in the bottle.

He handled this badly, no doubt. I think he gets a mulligan considering all he has done. I mean, his has to be one of the most well-earned mulligans in history.

Btw, Brady and his team, most particularly Don Yee, could've handled this better as well. His demeanor at the first press conference was terrible and became a punch line. He never confronted the allegations head on and hid behind pathetically weak press releases from Yee. And not saving his phone or at least the messages on it was stupid.

The only one that understood from Day 1 what was going on and where this was headed, and the seriousness of it, and acted accordingly, was Belichick. Not surprisingly, he is the only one that came out clean from this mess.

YEAH! To hell with Krafty Bob...let's go OLD SCHOOL!!!!

uh...oh, wait............

I wish I would have been alive to see that in person.

sometimes when adversity hits your true colors show. Kraft's wife dies he dates a 30 year old, Goodell screws us over he doesn't fight

All Kraft did was hire BB and then step away. Lets not make him a genius he got lucky that BB decided to join the Pats rather than stay with the Jets

Dan Snyder, Al Davis(RIP), Jerry Jones and the list goes on and on...

We are lucky that he did step away, that is the way owners are supposed to act.. there about about 31 other teams in the NFL who wished they had our model for success.

None of this has anything to do with his inaction during SpyFlateGate. That's akin to saying that a guy that has committed numerous charitable acts for the city that he lives in and has done a lot to enrich the lives of the people there should be forgiven for a night where he drank a fifth of Jack, got behind the wheel, and mowed down a pedestrian. Each act is separate. Yes, Kraft has done a lot of good for the franchise in the past. But this is a completely separate transgression and it shall be judged on it's own merits.

He should have handled things differently

You could have just stopped here.

but unfortunately cannot take what he did back.. all he can do is work behind the scenes to make things different in the future.

There is zero evidence of that happening. Actually, most of the evidence is on the fact that he's siding with the rest of the owners and Goodell on this one. Not surprising, though, considering this is a guy that kisses Goodell's cheek and gives him a big hug when he sees him in the Big Apple.

Whatever way you want to slice it, if you're going to lay any blame at Goodell's feet for this mess, blame should also be laid at Kraft's. He had numerous chances to come down on Goodell publicly for NFL publicity nightmares (like Rice, Peterson, Hardy, etc.) and supported him EACH and every single time by telling the world what a "great job" Roger was doing.
