How can Brady be so quiet?

... because ANY action can potentially be turned around to make you look guilty.

Provide emails.... emails are leaked to the public.... destroy your phone to protect your privacy. You're hiding SOMETHING and obstructing an (quote) "investigation" (unquote).

Say you don't "believe" you did anything wrong? People think you're stuttering when trying to proclaim your innocence.

Ask your equipment guy to deflate to the lower end of the allowable range? Your equipment guy is THE DEFLATOR!! Which means it's his job to ILLEGALLY deflate balls.... as opposed to LEGALLY deflating balls (which is completely in the realm of possibility).

You showered this morning? You must have been rolling in **** last night.

That's why you shut your mouth. Brady's held to it very well, while still publicly speaking on the matter at appropriate times (unlike Goodell).

this just happened yesterday... give the man some time to deal first and then second work with his team to peal the onion on his options.

Also, IMO Brady Legacy will be in tact. I wasn't sure, but after this past year w/DG swept under the rug for even just 9 months Brady was not jeered in every NFL stadium. He was widely regarded as an MVP candidate in 2015 and his opponents spoke of him as he should be spoken of - as one of the all times greats if not greatest of all time. In fact, throughout last season I heard many fans outside of NE and the media speak of Brady in terms of not being the best QB of all time but now many regard him as the best player of all time. This all in the shadows of DG. NO worries here... Brady's legacy will be firmly in tact! 1-Because he''s earned it an it's true and 2- because people have short memories!

Brady's team better be preparing at least a statement. Maybe they're trying to figure out the timing of it I don't know. Today would be bad because it would be overshadowed by the primaries and then you have the draft.

Q: Is Tom Brady a cheater?
TB: I don't believe so.

And there's the soundbite that stuck in most people's minds during Brady's only direct public "denial." Of course his full answer to the question is more comprehensive and thoughtful….

TB: I don’t believe so. I feel like I’ve always played within the rules. I would never do anything to break the rules. I believe in fair play and I respect the league and everything they’re doing to try to create a very competitive playing field for all the NFL teams. It’s a very competitive league. Every team is trying to do the best they can to win every week. I believe in fair play and I’ll always believe in that for as long as I’m playing."

You also have to look at two other things:

1) the transcript of the rest of that press conference, where Brady clearly denied time after time after time that he did anything wrong. When he was asked basically the same question for the umpteenth time, he apparently felt too polite to say "I've answered that already" and gave the re-worded answer above that was sound-byted by the haters to seem as wishy-washy as possible.

and

2) we have to keep remembering that the lie of all footballs being at least 2 psi below specs was being accepted by everyone as the gospel truth. Even Tom had to wonder if somebody somewhere hadn't done something wrong, if indeed all footballs had been at least 2 psi below specs. It's extremely hard to answer questions that are completely based on lies that are assumed, by the questioner, to be completely true.

Ongoing legal case.

Next question.

So today I rocked my Brady Home Jersey to my gym and of course no better place to wear it then here in NY and there was a few mixed comments. One Jet Fan said Brady got a royal FKn and another said so he cheats too huh but then said Pats will win division anyway even if P.Manning was QB'n. Another wished Jets were playing us first four games this year. One Giant Fan last week when I was at his Pizzeria who happens to be a season ticket holder for like 25 yrs saw my Pats shirt and said to me CHEATERS! I said to him NO your a cheater, your cheating public with your Pizza, it SUCKS! Its drippin oil, back crust is all burnt. I said you can't fool me I'm 1/2 Sicilian 1/2 Regular so he gave me slice for free I ate like half tossed rest in garbage. Just for Chitz & Giggles I think I'll buy a Brady Tee this week.......From China!

Exactly, and he seemed to believe that something they had done to the balls as part of the preparation caused the balls to be under pressure. Of course he only believed this because Roger Goodell and his minions lied. Why would Brady have believed at that time that the f'ing douchebag Goodell was a f'ing sick lying motherf'er out to destroy the reputation of an all time great in order to get a public victory? Brady had no idea the NFL was so corrupt and he was being sacrificed.

He hasn't exhausted the appeals process yet and his lawyers are probably advising him to be quiet.

I have a hunch the SCOTUS will actually grant cert on this despite what all the "experts" are saying. A lower court decision was reversed. A chief judge dissented. The Peterson case may create a conflicting precedent. It's a weird/funky/sexy case with national exposure. It's just too much damn fun (in a twisted lawyer-type way) for the SCOTUS to NOT join the party.

I could be wrong and they may not right this injustice, but there's a chance.

Brady will always be 2 thumbs up.....the haters around the country are just jealous and looking to deflect as to why their teams suck

Dear TB12,
The time has come to take the tarp off your well stocked arsenal (Super G's $$$$$$$$) and initiate a scorched earth policy against Roger Goodell and the NFL.
1) Deflate the build up for the 2016 NFL Draft by holding a formal press conference one hour prior to the announcement of the 1st pick of the draft. During this presser, eviscerate Goodell, Wells, Pash, ESPN, Grigson, etc with accusations of persecution, manufactured evidence, fraud, defamation, etc.
2) Ask NE fans to join him watching Wicked Tuna reruns on cable Thursday evening instead of viewing the corrupt commissioner manipulate a likely rigged draft
3) File the next appeal
4) Assemble a legal team to explore a defamation suit
5) Assemble the NFLPA team representatives and initiate a players only conference call to disseminate accurate information
6) Send autographed footballs to the male justices of the Supreme Court and autographed photos of your Farm Animal glam photo shoot to the female justices.
7) Keep Trump in your back pocket for now…there's scorched earth and then there's scorched earth.
8) Never stop hammering Goodell

I have to admit that I think a little Public Relations offensive might be in Brady's best interest at some point. It is actually possible to talk about an ongoing litigation without saying anything incriminating. I have to think Brady is smart enough to get coached by his lawyers on what to say and what not to say and then say it.

Brady's just waiting for the right opportunity

Why can't so people shut up??? Just asking.
