Last September it was all over. We had won. We had vindication. The general attitude of the nation was turning in favor of Brady. IT WAS OVER.

Now? It's more fu.cked than ever.

I just... I just can't...

I think when we started hearing about how these Appeals judges were responding to Brady's lawyers that the suspension was coming back. I hoped it'd be over with Berman's ruling but ever since a few months ago I've just been waiting for this day to come.

No shock but still sucks.

The only thing that surprises me is that I only care a little bit. The league and following it has systematically become less and less important to me. Sure, I'll still watch. But I'm not nearly as emotionally invested in it as I used to be. All the way up until 2014, something like this would have ruined my week. Now it doesn't even ruin my day. I feel bad for Brady but I'm just not that into this anymore. The idiot commissioner and the greedy pile of **** owners (this includes our own) have pretty much watered down a game that I used to love and spend a lot of time and money on.

not shocked, and I'd rather be playing Garoppolo with an additional year as well as 3 of 4 games at home

The decision itself isn't surprising. I was surprised there was no lead up to the ruling, no rumors or leaks over the weekend or this morning that the decision was coming today.

This is an excellent primer about the importance of both venue and judicial philosophy. Unfortunately, it's also an excellent primer on the luck of the draw.

You really thought it was over, though? I didn't. This does not shock me one bit.

Judges are more professional than the league office.

Never thought I'd see the day a league was faaaar more corrupt than David "I know where the bodies are buried" Stern's NBA.

It's like Roger Goodell declaring the Earth to be flat, and the court agreeing that he has the right to declare it to be flat, and the court admitting that truth and fairness are irrelevant.

I would have felt better had we won it all and stuck it to goodell. Instead brady has a bad game and gets hit a ton in the afc championship game and now has to serve a 4 game suspensión when his window's closing to win number 5. Fck U ****dell!!!!! We got a spineless owner as well.

I'm in shock, but I'm just trying to convince myself it will all work out in the end. Garoppolo will play amazing the first 4 games and end up traded for either an impact player to help us win the SB or a first rounder next year. If we win the SB and Garoppolo plays great, it's win win. Make it so!

Re-double your efforts to cut out as much spending on NFL merchandise as you can. It's not much but it's all we can do.

I would also add that fans should cancel Sunday ticket and remove the NFL network from their cable subscription. I personally got rid of cable all together and don't miss it one bit.

This is why the NFL calmly appealed when it seemed futile. They were exposed by Judge Berman but they had the appeals court in their pocket all along.
