The fans need to support Brady

If anyone is going to the Celtics game Thursday, they need to bring tons of anti NFL and anti Goodell signs. NBA wouldn't give a **** I'm sure, anyway they can bag on the NFL is great for them.

I'm guessing Krafty Bob says nothing...team issues weak statement, and expresses desire to "move on"

kraft doesn't care. he still gets invited to arthur blanks exclusive VIP parties.

if i was tom, i would never speak to gutless kraft ever again. and to think tb12 takes a paycut for that piece of ****??? insanity. tom should fire don yee ASAP

Brady is a team captain and will tell his team to go out there and win. What the rest of his teammates do is another story. I think they will do something, in solidarity, and something classy yet powerful. There is plenty of time to think of some good ****. "PATS POWER!" but something more original. We need some originallity.

Kansas City fans should follow suit, even though they weren't hit nearly as hard, every fan of a team that gets done wrong should boycott nfl products and their sponsors.

And regarless of what anyone posts on a message board (burn down his house, call and harass him, etc.) we all know Goodell is not safe without some kind of body guards. It takes one crazed fan to go overboard. It's their Jihad against the NY based "infidels".
I for one will join any group that boycotts anything nfl related and take part in any protests against this kind of injustice.

The Celtics game is a great place to start :))

What are Kraft's obligations to the league in terms of merchandise/food revenue? Could he decided to fund individual players to ramp up production of TB12, JE11, etc etc, come out with his own line of Patriots clothing (Kraft owns the Patriots, but obviously not the NFL, so could he technically just come up with new designs and just forgo the NFL logo/other trademarked aspects) and stop sales of NFL merch both at Patriots Place and online. That would be a great FU to the league.

Some of the suggestions in here are really ridiculous or unrealistic. Some of you are seriously suggesting that the other players give up their paychecks (forfeit) for the wealthiest player on the team (Tom)? Or have the team risk more punishment and fines (lying on the injury report)? Intentionally losing games they could have possibly won? I dont think the team would appreciate missing the playoffs by one game cause the fans decided to storm the field and NFL made the decision to cancel the game because of it. I mean you people do realize Brady will be back right? Some of these reactions would possibly be understandable if he had a permanent suspension but right now they are overreactions.

The biggest FU we could possibly bring is for the team to just keep winning. But we do need to support TB12, and hopefully even Vichy Bob Kraft can come up with something to do that. I'm sure Kraft won't do anything to piss off Fuhrer Goodell, but he'd better do something to support TB12.

Time for Kraft to be a Mensch and support his most important player. Kraft didn't have any reservations supporting Goodell in the Rice fiasco. Where is he now?

Tongue in cheek.... we go to Arizona, take the field, then just don't do anything. Let Arizona (Carson Palmer still their QB?) break all Peyton Manning's single game records.

It's easy for me to boycott because I'm in Toronto. It's not fair to season ticket holders.

So I'd propose the following:

All season ticket holders sell their tickets to the opposition fans on StubHub or whatever other means while Brady is suspended. Get your face value. Get more if you can. Whatever. Don't lose money over this.

Or alternatively, get a jersey of the visiting team. You can find used ones online for cheap or in vintage/thrift shops. It might cost you the price of parking.

As much as I've defended Kraft, I think there's a lesson for him as well in this. See what happens when you sell out your stadium but to the wrong fans.

And the NBA has always been the paragon of competitive integrity and fairness.

Unlike the first round of this drama, many people are beyond tired of this charade, and I'm heartened that I'm seeing articles that are forgoing cheap clicks from Pats-haters and focusing instead on the absurdity of the N.F.L. office.

Case in point:

*********
"Like Judge Berman's ruling in September, Monday's decision concerns the fairness of the NFL's disciplinary process rather than the factual question of whether Brady was culpable in a scheme to deflate footballs to make them easier to throw and catch. (The scientific consensus, for what it's worth, seems to be that the measured loss in ball pressure during the game in question can be explained by the laws of physics and that NFL consultants' assertions on the issue were flawed. The league's investigation, meanwhile, was sloppy and reportedly motivated more by internal politics than a dispassionate interest in Finding the Truth.) Berman ruled that Brady had not been provided with adequate due process before and after the league issued its supension, but during a March 2016 hearing the Second Circuit judges foreshadowed today's decision when they seemed willing to defer to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's unilateral authority over disciplinary matters."

"It appears that Brady now has two options: Asking for a rehearing in front of the full Second Circuit or appealing to the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court!"

I don't have cable. I don't watch ESPN or the NFL Network. I don't buy NFL gear. I dropped out of my fantasy football league today. I no longer wager on NFL games. I boycott just about every known NFL sponsor (mostly **** I don't want/need/use anyway).

What's left to do other than not watch football?

I understand that people are pretty pissed off and justifiably so. They're victims of an injustice. The government (CA2) had a chance to ameliorate the effects of this injustice and failed to do so. The chances of the SCOTUS swooping in to save the day aren't great.

It's like standing by helplessly and watching the Romans and Pharisees crucify "football Jesus" to the delight of the ignorant mob.

I would love to see the Pru lit up with 12, would be an awesome show of support for Brady and a middle finger to the NFL.

In comparison to today's NFL, yeah. That's how bad the NFL, they've made the NBA look like YMCA sports in terms of fairness.
