The fans need to support Brady

Boycotting is a passive action. Nobody is ever going to make the connection, much less the league office.

We need to do something that directly impacts Goodell/the league office.

What if Kraft just forfeit the first game ? Just say that if Brady's suspension isn't lifted, the Pats won't play in Arizona. I'm sure the NFL would replace that SNF game with another, but NBC wouldn't be too happy about this.

Sure it's not a good thing to just give a game away, but it wouldn't impact games in Foxboro (so no impact on season tickets holders).

sounds like that would just extend Brady's suspension another week if the game doesn't take place

the good news is as long as the first 4 weeks aren't a total disaster, Brady will be 4 weeks fresher late in the season

named dragged through the mud? good luck with that...
the nfl has destroyed the integrity of it's greatest player over nothing. this has never happened in sports.
outside of pats fans, everyone thinks tom's a dirty cheat. nothing he can do to change that unfortunately.

i really despise goodell. but i hate kraft even more..
cant wait for his statement.
I'm guessing Krafty Bob says nothing...team issues weak statement, and expresses desire to "move on"

I don't see it this way, because the (other) players would still receive a game check, and the standings would show the Pats being 0-1. The game would not have been played, but it still counts. Brady has already been docked his first 4 paychecks, not sure the NFL can dock him another paycheck just because the Pats do not show up in Arizona.

Like others have already mentioned, Kraft has made his decision and will probably support the league & the other "31". Hopefully Kraft surprises us all and does something to take a stand against the league. However, I am not holding my breath.

nobody gets a game check if they don't show up......this would create a bigger mess than I think people realize......this is the kind of **** that would have the other owners in the league to force Kraft to sell the team

from a logical standpoint, this has all been an obvious attempt to mitigate the Pats ongoing awesomeness.......people should see this as pure jealousy .... while we should not enjoy the bogus penalties placed on the team and regardless of how complicit Kraft may be or how tied his hands are, we have an awesome coach and a roster or great players as well as relatively good humans......we should continue to revel in the glory of our team despite the attempts of others to try to drag it down. Because they will fail to drag it down.

It's just entertainment anyway and is only excuse for me to drink beer during the day and eat endless amounts of smoked meats

We should just all rush the field and chant **** you Roger for 3 and a half hours. 60,000 pissed off Pats fans ripe for your TV viewing pleasure

That's the whole point, to create a mess. I'm sure it won't happen, realistically, but should it happens then I don't think the other owners could force Kraft out easily. First, he's part of the tv committee, probably the biggest and most important committee an owner can sit on. Also, he was the one owner the NFLPA trusted when they signed the last union agreement back in 2011. Without Kraft, there is no 2011 NFL season. How the NFLPA would react if the NFL tries to oust the one owner they trust, all over a matter of abusive power from the NFL toward a member of the NFLPA ? What type of relationship the NFL would have with the NFLPA after that ?

Edit :
nobody gets a game check if they don't show up
as an FU to the league, all Pats players for the first week should be listed as out, head injury (concussion).

Patriots fans should boycott the first four games. We should not watch the games on T.V. or go to gillette. How good would it be if Gillette was empty for the opening game against Miami? We need to send a message to the NFL and Kraft that we won't allow Brady's name and legacy to be dragged through the mud. Lets make it happen.
I agree we need to support, but what you're suggesting partly hurts the players too. I cannot support something that makes our players and coaches collateral damage. I won't have any better suggestions at this moment, though, sorry. It is what it is, unfortunately. I have never seen a sports league try so hard to tarnish it's brightest star. The NBA, for instance, goes to great lengths to PROTECT their brightest stars. Whatever.

Send the message? Even better! The best way is for Kraft to inform the League that the Patriots will agree to forfeit those first four games in solidarity to a Mr. Tom Brady and not appear on National Television. How do U like them apples Roger? The League will lose millions, the sponsors will be fuming, as well as income for the games the other Teams laughing in Kraft's face right now.

The Krafts might consider reimbursing the ticket holders for the two lost home games of the four.

This will throw the NFL into a quandary. Las Vegas will inform Mr. Goodell that he has to change his punishment in no uncertain terms. Do the Pats have the killhoonies to do that?

This is not about Jimmy G and his chance. It is about pride and respect.

Forfeit
The Commissioner, (except in cases of disciplinary action; see last section on "Removing Team from Field"), League President, and their representatives, including referees, are not authorized unilaterally to declare forfeits. A forfeit occurs only when a game is not played because of the failure or refusal of one team to participate. In that event, the other team, if ready and willing to play, is the winner by a score of 2-0

The Pats fans have the last laugh. Now we have practiced, are healthy, are angry and are ready to run the table and be 12-4 heading into the playoffs.

If the Kraft's back down now...........

He who laughs last...........

I just want to be able to get Goodell alon, in a room, with Pinhead & his friends from Hellraiser. Let them "explain" to Goodell what a crapweasely Jackwagon he is.

the last thing the teem needs is to be caught lying on the injury report......the games going to be played and serves nobody for it not to be played

No......this will only have 24 owners pissed off enough to force Kraft out of the league....you do realize they could do that, don't you? this kind of spite doesn't work........

As IC said, it would just move up the suspension. Forfeiting or any other actions by the club hurts the players, anyway.

Which is why it's important that the reaction comes us, as fans of the New England Patriots.

Don't boycott, rush the damn field and protest. Our country was founded upon **** like that!

Perfect. Have the Pats use third sting players and just allow the other Teams to score and move out of their way. The pinkie ring and spats crowd in Las Vegas will have a serious chat with Mr. Goodell.

It would be hysterical.

BB and his main staff should not go to those games.

It would be hysterical.
