This is what happens when Serena Williams Meets TB12

We need the GOAT to meet Kevin Durant and help recruit him to Boston. Edelman and Gronk need to get it on it too. Potroast already said he's working on recruiting KD.

I've met David - great guy! I know Peter Mayhew pretty well.

Cool! Peter seems like a guy to have a beer with. When I gave him my sentimental spiel at that long ago convention, his eyes brightened and he said, "You've grown a bit since (you were 12) eh?" :D

For me, the moment was when i spent several hours in Lucas's office talking to him. I wanted to hide in a closet and move into the Ranch.

Wow. Interesting line of work you are/were in, I take it, or just a hardcore SW fan?

Serena is one of the most undercovered sports stories that I can remember. She is much more deserving than anyone gives her credit for.

She is the GOAT no doubt.
She great no doubt. But it's her attitude that hurts her and how she acts. Serena comes off as a bully.

If you followed this, she was 100% in the right in that incident. Without a doubt, that sideline ref was a piece of work. There's a story there that is problem only known by people who follow tennis.

Not a hardcore fan, but I enjoy SW. I'm a writer.

Maybe it was a bad call, but it's still her attitude that hurts more people from embracing her.

I'd take her on my team in favor of "who cares" Ochocinco. Assuming she didn't say exactly what she was accused of, she seemed very gracious in congratulating her opponent and competitive as hell. I think Tom would be happy having her picking up the blitz.

McEnroe was 20 times as bad, by the way.

That still doesn't erase the threatening manner in which she confronted the line judge. Stuff like that and other things turns people off to her.

I don't doubt that she could stop the blitz. We're talking about people and media embracing her. No doubt she's good enough.

He was a guy though. That makes a difference. Serena is a girl. Fan's want different behavior before they decide to embrace a female tennis athlete.

It wasn't a matter of a call. It was a matter of being racially harassed in an a sport that really badly wants to market to rich white people. The call that went against her there was ridiculously rare. And the ump had a history. It wasn't even a foot fault. If anything, I think Serena has been incredibly restrained over her career given the amount of stuff that came her way, compared to other women tennis players who have blown up over much less.

But can she rush the quarterback?

You think that little Chinese woman was being racist? There's no way to know. But I doubt it.

I think tennis would embrace Serena if she was not so abrasive or bullying like in my video. That was awful. I don't know how you can blame that on racism.

Tennis fans probably wan a female athlete that acts like a lady. Red yellow black or white, that's what they want. Serena acts like a spoiled bully many times. She has been the best for a long time. But fans want more than that.

I actually wanted to like her myself. Incidents and interviews like that made me dislike her. Not racism.

I do think so.

Like I said, I followed this incident closely.

Do you know when foot faults are called in tennis?

Look into it. You would learn a lot.

You don't call a foot fault unless it is obvious.

Through many hundreds of thousands of matches, none of the announcers could ever recall a foot fault called when the foot was behind the line. The call was totally absurd. The fact that this particular ump had a history with Serena takes it over the top.

There has been a chapter in a book written about this incident.

Do you think that excuses her threatening behavior toward that little Chinese woman? That's fine is you do, but I'm saying that is why many tennis fans don't embrace Serena. And it's because of her attitude and actions. She has been the best for a long time.

She deserved worse, if you ask me. This is a sport that condones racism simply because they sell to rich white people. I worked for Donald Dell's Proserv back in the 1980s. Pro Wrestling has little over the tennis world. There's a reason why there are constant accusations of fixed matches over the decades. Serena has been exemplary in her behavior and restraint given her treatment over the years.

Well it's just my opinion but I don't think most people call Serena's behavior exemplary. Personally I thought her behavior was awful. I'm not saying you can't be a fan though.
