Top 10 dissapointing players in the Brady/BB era

Actually it simply proves you can't handle someone with a different (unpopular) opinion, so you and a few others felt like being ****s about it instead of simply disagreeing with it. What did I miss? Feel free to re-read the thread if you didn't "get it"

There's a difference between having a different opinion and having a patently ridiculous opinion.

If you disagree, then spell out, precisely, why it matters that Woodhead was and is a small player, given his production in NE.

He made a silly point. Others contradicted him. Then he re-asserted it again, again ... and again.
Oh I'm sorry, was I supposed to back down from my opinion because someone else didn't agree?
Then he complained about how he was treated. I can agree that not everyone was polite, but, really, life is short and that was a complete waste of everyone's time.
Oh so I wasted your time, but yet by your own words you must have clicked on this thread multiple times to know that I kept my stance? Sounds like your own fault to me.

If you need it spelled out again, try re-reading a few replies back, I made my points very clear why I don't like him.

I'm still disappointed that they waited for pick 199 in the 6th round to draft Tom Brady. They should have taken him in the 5th round like I had him on my board.

Looked, didn't find anything.

If you have a UDFA running back, who was cut by another team prior to your bringing him in, and that UDFA puts up

4.8 y/a
10.7 y/c
92 receptions
31 TDs

in just under 3 seasons, usually as a tandem back, and you consider him a top 10 disappointment for this team when looking at every player brought in over a period of about 15 years, you're either trolling, high on something, of a complete fool.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt. That was apparently a mistake, given your response, so you're either a troll or a fool. You're welcome to tell us which it is, or we'll all just have to decide for ourselves.
Dude, the guy is either a young kid or a troll. You're wasting your time either way. I left it alone. You'll see how much better you feel when you do.

Yes, we are all welcome to our opinions (yourself included) but you can expect to get some pushback when providing some opinions in which there is a real small minority that share your opinion. Doesn't mean you can't voice it, just means you should expect some pushback. In fact, I'm glad you voiced your opinion because it has made this thread quite entertaining.

As an example of a minority opinion that I have in which I've been called 'silly' and 'idiotic'.....of the mothers on Modern Family, I find Julie Bowen (Claire) to be more attractive than Sofia Vergara (Gloria). I know, I know, crazy right? But man, just my opinion. Sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread.
I just want to add also that if you are going to choose to voice the unpopular opinion and, as you've stated, should expect pushback, then you should also expect to back up what you've stated with some kind of . . . any kind of legit reason(s). Then when you get the pushback and you are challenged to do so, don't go off thinking people are being jerks. People taking the time to even respond should show that they at least want to hear your side. But instead of providing anything credible or interesting, you just accuse people of being jerks and whatever other adjectives you used and keep the thread going with the silliness. It just feels like stuff this childish wasn't happening for a while . . . at least not that I remember.

Spare me the life lessons. I understand just fine how most of these message boards work, and I'm the new guy with an unpopular opinion. If people want to fling crap at me because they disagree with my opinion of woody...fine. If they want to act like ****s....I'll sit back and laugh at each and every one of them.

I just remembered how much I love the Ignore feature on the board. Holla back!

Just reading these posts.. A few thoughts.. I thought this thread was about disappointing players, not players you disliked.. Regardless of what you think of his size, or what your prototypical RB would be, Woodhead's production was anything but disappointing, especially considering he was an undrafted training camp cut by the jets, with virtually no NFL experience or expectations.
It just seems like you took an opportunity to give an arbitrary opinion about a player you didn't like in a thread not really pertaining to that, and didn't really add much substance to back it up. Probably why you got crap for it.

Thank you, sir.

maroney sucked, but still wasnt as bad as a few of those guys at least. Far from #1 imo. The 2007 afcc performance alone is more than anything jackson, dowling, brace, or easley did and they were all high picks like lomo.

AH being a murderer was the most disappointing.

Everyone else is whatever.
Yes Hernandez was the worst pick by far, who knew that he was a homicidal maniac. Not the worst football pick because he could play but the worst pick morally. I was sort of surprised that BB did not trade Hernandez when he got the first whim of what this guy was all about, but Hernandez was pretty good about covering up his double life.
