Oh okay...so now I do drugs because I don't like a certain player that you do? Grow up...it's okay to have different views.

If you have a UDFA running back, who was cut by another team prior to your bringing him in, and that UDFA puts up

4.8 y/a
10.7 y/c
92 receptions
31 TDs

in just under 3 seasons, usually as a tandem back, and you consider him a top 10 disappointment for this team when looking at every player brought in over a period of about 15 years, you're either trolling, high on something, of a complete fool.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt. That was apparently a mistake, given your response, so you're either a troll or a fool. You're welcome to tell us which it is, or we'll all just have to decide for ourselves.

You can decide whatever you like...I could honestly care less. I stated I didn't like the guy, and people are jumping all over my opinion here in this forum. Apparently I need to agree with everyone or I get told I have no football knowledge, on drugs, or a fool. How excellent!! Glad everyone is so friendly here....unreal.....

Yeah, but he got "crushed" a couple of times.

Oh, right it's tackle football. Nevermind.

The blowback you've gotten on this thread has been about your posts in this thread, particularly on the issue of the thread topic. Don't post completely asinine posts and you'll find people a lot more friendly.

I have to take the blame. I think I was the first one to bring him up here.

It's fine man. :p We can bring him up to. He certainly would make the list if it was the past 20 or 30 years.

In other words....don't give an opinion unless you agree with everyone else.....okay got it. Spare me.

Yes, getting crushed works so well when trying to block for TB......oh, right.

I know this wont be a very popular choice, but I just couldn't stand Danny Woodhead. I know he had talent, but he was just so small, I cringed when he would come on the field. Yes, he made some great plays, but he was simply a smurf playing a giants game......just one of those players I never liked.

I kind of liked that he was small playing a game generally meant for bigger guys. He was effective within a limited role. I understand what you are probably saying in that you want a true prototypical stud player and who wouldn't?

I also think there were times that the D saw him trotting onto the field on 3rd down, Keyed in on him getting the ball, and he got mauled trying to run between the tackles. Again, yes, he had some amazing runs, but one too many times I watched him get eaten up trying to block where the 250- lb linebackers would just run right over him. If the guy was so great, they would have found a way to keep him....just like anyone else here. They felt there were better options when they let him walk.....

Bye ...

If you go on a sports forum and spout off asinine, uninformed opinions, you should expect to receive ridicule in return. That's not over the top. It's common sense. Particularly so in this case, where there's an extremely high probability of troll.

You're not very bright are you? It's called an opinion. I see how some folks here get their panties in a wad because I said something negative about someone they may have liked. In a thread where people are voicing opinions on people they thought weren't very good. Good grief...get over it folks....not everyone liked Danny friggen Woodhead. Laughing at all these heated responses accusing my post of being "asinine" because they have a different view.

Is there a point here? You can call it whatever you want, but not all opinions are created equal. If you say something dumb, and can't articulate why the dumb thing you wrote isn't, in fact, dumb, then people will ridicule you for it, and rightly so. Essentially the thesis of your argument is that you don't like Woodhead because he's small. Is anyone supposed to take that seriously?

Take it any way you like. Do you honestly think I care if you don't like my opinion of Woodhead?? I'll be sure and say nice things about all the players next time just so you will take me seriously....LOL@you.

Yes, we are all welcome to our opinions (yourself included) but you can expect to get some pushback when providing some opinions in which there is a real small minority that share your opinion. Doesn't mean you can't voice it, just means you should expect some pushback. In fact, I'm glad you voiced your opinion because it has made this thread quite entertaining.

As an example of a minority opinion that I have in which I've been called 'silly' and 'idiotic'.....of the mothers on Modern Family, I find Julie Bowen (Claire) to be more attractive than Sofia Vergara (Gloria). I know, I know, crazy right? But man, just my opinion. Sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread.

Proving, once again, that you just don't get it.

It's all good, I just came from a message board where you need to have thick skin. I'm totally fine with people disagreeing with my opinion.....but it's clear some folks just like to try and be jerks about it when they disagree. And yeah, Claire is hot......but not so sure I could pass up Sofia....LOL

Really?

I think @Tanbass had a point about the way he was treated. The name calling was over the top.

He made a silly point. Others contradicted him. Then he re-asserted it again, again ... and again. Then he complained about how he was treated. I can agree that not everyone was polite, but, really, life is short and that was a complete waste of everyone's time.

Proving, once again, that you just don't get it.
Actually it simply proves you can't handle someone with a different (unpopular) opinion, so you and a few others felt like being ****s about it instead of simply disagreeing with it. What did I miss? Feel free to re-read the thread if you didn't "get it"
