Thieving thieves may steal our picks, but Patriots draftniks will not be daunted. The Official PatsFans Annual Draft Contest must go on! And with a raft of late picks, this year's draft gives you a great chance to indulge in your long-shot binkies. The traditional contest rules:

The Patriots have 11 draft picks. Name 11 players you think they might choose. The most hits wins.

That's it. Choose any strategy you like -- a straight 7-round mock, a defensive line focus, a roundup of 11 "Wes Welker types," or a rugby all-star team to back up Nate Ebner. Then submit your your ballot to this thread, IN THIS FORMAT:

Ryan Smith, CB, North Carolina Central

(All parts of it, please, and spelling counts. If I search the thread for picks of Bronson Kaufusi and you typed Branson Kafausi, you're out of luck.)

And now, let the picks begin! I'll repeat last year's unclaimed offer: if the winner manages to hit 3+ picks I'll compose a victory ode in his or her honor.

OK, here goes.

Keenan Reynolds, RB, Navy
Sean Davis, CB, Maryland
Cyrus Jones, CB, Alabama
Hassan Ridgeway, DT, Texas
Chris Swain, FB, Navy
Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
Jonathan Williams, RB, Arkansas
Bronson Kaufusi, DL, BYU
Daniel Braverman, WR, W Michigan
Jordan Jenkins, LB, Georgia
Le'Raven Clark, OT, Texas Tech

Good luck everyone.

Good list. Like it a lot.

I got two correct last year (Mason and Roberts), and had I not wavered last second and swapped my picks, I would have also had Brown and Jackson on my list. Four correct picks would have set the all time PatsFans record, I believe.

This year I'm having a very difficult time narrowing down my field, because the prospects I like aren't all good fits (and because Manx already beat me to the punch, haha). I will have to post later with my official picks, but I don't anticipate good success this year.

I haven't been able to concentrate on the draft like years past so only really know the top 100 prospects. So I'll just copy what Manx put…only kidding

Keenan Reynolds
Sean Davis
Devontae Booker
Leonte Carroo
Hassan Ridgeway
Kalan Reed
Travis Freeney
Jordan Payton
Austin Johnson
Will Redmond
Jerald Hawkins

I basically picked a load of guys I have heard they have worked out/have interest in and then a couple of random guys I like.

1. Don't copy me. I haven't won since 2011 (or come close).

2. That's a very nice list. I came close to including Carroo, Reed and Johnson.

I chose to target the 2nd and 3rd round picks aside from obvious guys like Reynolds, Swain and Braverman. I felt I had more chance og getting the early picks right than the later picks. Also decided to leave WRs alone. I have no idea which way they'll go there.

Cousins, Already did my Mock on a thread a few days ago but here goes again. Made some changes because we can't anticipate a trade scenario which as you all well know, I tend to do that::

Jaylon Smith LB Notre Dame

Our stolen first round choice even if we we might have to wait a year on. That is fine. We are one of the Teams that can afford to do so. Also a back up in event that Collins or Hightower gets away in 2017

LaRaven Clark OT Texas Tech

His Pro Day workout was top shelf. Volmer is on his last year. He might be too high for us to get, but the fact is the Rams and Eagles now pulling down their panties to get QB's Goff and Wentz has pulled down some O-Lineman on the board such as Tunsil, Stanley etc. We might have a shot at #60.

Kenneth Dixon RB La Tech

Can run, catch and block. Some say Booker but he has a knee. We already have our "knee" guy in Smith

Bronson Kaufusi DE/OLB BYU

Kid is a sleeper. Can rush and drop back. Has speed and at 6'7" blocks kicks. Can become disruptive at even a DT slot during pass situations. A 7.03 "3 cone" at 285 lbs. We know that is a "Bill Thrill". DIVERSE

Javon Hargraves ST S.C. State

More sacks and TFL than any other D Linemen in this draft. Strong (29) and less than a 5 second 40.

Sean Davis CB Maryland

A lot of Pats smoke on this kid. Can play Safety too.

Devon Cajuste WR Stanford

The big WR we have not had since Moss (no on Dobson) 6.40 3 CONE and will catch in traffic. Red Zone with him, Gronk and Bennett?

Kevin Byard S Middle Tenn.
Our annual Safety pick! 5'11 and 212 lbs with 4.46 speed and returns kick

Nick Richter OT/OG Richmond

Size and diverse. Can play C as well. 3 year starter. All CAA League. Decent speed. Strong at 25 reps.Very low sacks against.

Keenan Reynolds RB Navy

A BB dude (binkie). Nuff said.

Marquez North WR Tenn.

Was one of the top Freshman WRs and something happened. Better his Sr year but not great. Has NFL size and speed.Has the talent.

Bearing in mind that Patchick is a stickler for spelling, you might want to edit this. It's Travis Feeney, not Freeney. Easy mistake to make so just fyi.
