"Color Rush" colors for the season

Honestly, I want to boycott all Thursday night games. And I know we've got one. But I am just so sick of the NFL's non-stop stupidity. Obviously Defamegate is a major factor. But I'm just so sick of Goodell trotting out more and more ******** and expecting everyone to smile while eating it.

I read about AMC Theaters thinking about allowing texting, and then everyone freaked out, and they reversed course. They listened to their customers, unlike the NFL. So I think everyone should stop watching Thursday night games until they get rid of this stupidity. Once ratings start going down, their partners who paid a ton for the games will get a bit pissy and maybe we can get Goodell to realize he is not God.

Or maybe I'm just turning into a bitter old angry man. I don't know. But I really am thinking about skipping that Thursday night Pats game.

What is the purpose of this? Is this all I have to do to make forty million a year?

lmao at the Bengals one. that will be embarrassing

Hoping to get away with putting a whistle around one of their necks and a flag in his pocket. Remove helmet, stand still, throw flag, cause havoc.

Some of these make a lot of sense. 49ers = Gold. Dolphins = Orange. Some of these are just mind numbingly stupid. The Falcons get silver? The Raiders get some off gold? And why would the Lions get dark blue but the Texans get Royal blue? That is just...gah WTF.

I am OK with us getting red though. Wonder if Kraft fought that too hard since he associates red with the losing years, or if he knew we've wanted a red alternative for forever and finally relented.

Goodell ... Wimpy Bob ... Fantasy dweebs ... Witch hunts and litigation ... Now this crap. What the hell happened to the game I loved?

Cowboy's "Color Rush" is white, i.e. colorless. Win all around this promotion.

**** YEAH RED JERSEYS AT LAST!!!!

Why are the Raiders going to be in Gold? Or Cardinals in Yellow?

Would have liked an all White uni for the Pats Red on Red isn't a good look at all.

Raider fans already have a black raider jersey so now the NFL can pawn off a gold Raider jersey.

Maybe Raiders Jersey is poking fun at San Fran for stealing black? Here's a fake Jersey they made to make fun of them, guess they want a deal one now.

These aren't the official Texans color rush uniforms, but they're damn close to the lighter blue smurf color that the Texans have chosen.

Pairing that with NE's all red ketchup uniforms don't appear to be too easy on the eyes, but perhaps I'm just colorblind.

Last year someone tweeted a papa smurf photo.

When it comes to things like this, the NFL does listen to the fans. And based on the Thursday Night Football rating, the fans are saying "we love it!"

Your very first sentence is the problem. You say you "want" to boycott TNF. That implies that while you may want to, you're not going to. The NFL knows that the people yelling and screaming the loudest are the ones who will all be watching anyway.

Yeah, you're right. Although my love of football has dropped dramatically over the past year, no doubt about that.

I stopped watching baseball altogether, I haven't returned to hockey either after their every-other-year strike issues, and I actually do think I will skip Thursday nights. Between the concussion issues and the soulless ginger Nazi in charge, my love of the sport has definitely waned.

Not that the NFL will miss me. The NHL and MLB didn't either. So it's no big loss. But eventually it may hit a critical mass.

Also, why doesn't the NFL just make Thursday night games Throwback Thursdays, and play with the throwback jerseys?

Most of the uniforms won't be as fugly, aligns well with Twitter, promote a different jersey...makes too much sense. The league will eventually figure this out (maybe), but they won't do it right away because then that would mean they have to admit they're not perfect.

Because it's Goodell and the NYJFL, they can't trademark #tbt but can with this color rush nonsense.

It's easy to boycott the NFL while still enjoying the games.

Just keep posting the NFL sponsors and actually boycott them.

That is not even a remotely plausible solution. It seems like you don't even realize how implausible that is.

It would be tough for me to boycott Microsoft and Ford. I drive a Ford and have Microsoft Windows on my laptop.

Sometimes I drive around in my Ford with my laptop while drinking a Gatorade.

Can't kick the Gatorade, eh?
