Aqib Talib says Peyton Manning is better all-time QB than Tom Brady

"That's a tough one, man. That's a tough one. Their preparation, how they approach the game. I've seen both of them," Talib said on ESPN's "First Take." "Just seeing that and seeing their productivity on the field, it's kind of hard to pick. But if I had to pick, I'm going to pick the guy who I won the Super Bowl with. I never won a Super Bowl with Tom. I had a great time over there playing with him. He was amazing to watch - same with Peyton. But I won a Super Bowl with Peyton. So, I'm going to go with Peyton."

Right. Peyton fell onto that super bowl win. All he did was show up.

Funny how far the apple falls from the tree.

More like severe because earlier there was an article on NFL site With talib saying he doesn't see why the Broncos can't repeat. What an idiot

I live in Utah with many bronco fans.

They never want to hear that the superbowl was given to them and guaranteed in like week 6 of last season

What a joke.

For the life of me I think the Pats were in on it. The pathetic pop warner defense played UNTIL Pey Pey had thrown TWO TDs when he hadn't thrown any in what...6 games or something? He never smelled another one. We will never know the true price of Deflatgate. Was it an under the table agreement with BB that he play it nice for a bit with Pey Pey or he faced a suspension too? That's how confusing a situation that a defensive guru such as BB put the Pats in to start the game. Pey Pey never came close after that.

Please tell me you're joking.

Explain how a better D than Pitt gives up 2 quick scores when Pitt didn't. To a guy who hadn't thrown a TD all season after playing the week before. Explain that to me. No one can. Because when you do it one way, then after ANOTHER one they change up to how any sane person would have done it to begin with and clamped them down, it's highly curious.

We spent a week talking about how to defend. Press man, make him throw it deep. They did the opposite. Why? Did they not want to win? Mind you this isn't on the players. They play how they are told.

Someone else is showing evidence of a concussion...

Yet no one can answer me anything. That's very telling in its own right. All you can do is deflect. Notice I didn't say lose on purpose. Just make it look good. And Ghost misses an extra point. Who would have predicted that.

You do realize teams play other teams differently right? Just because Pitt did something vs Den doesn't mean the Pats will do the exact same...

Why am i even wasting my breath on this idiotic nonsense...ugh

The scary part is...he isn't...

Again. Deflect. The NFL can make up evidence. The NFL can do whatever it wants. Yet my supposition is unbelievable. That's rich. They denied science. You think it stops there?

Player sides with his most recent teammate he won championship with. Yep, really worth freaking out about. Next.

You do realize that you are playing noodle arm who had not thrown a TD pass the week after he had played ALL SEASON. Let me repeat. ALL SEASON.

And he threw 2 quick ones against a better D than Pitt.

So the presumption that the Super Bowl was given to them in week 6 is okay. But mine isn't?

Lol.

That's so obvious, yet you're the first one to mention it in the thread. He won a SB with Manning, so I expect him to say Manning. Anyone who has ever played a sport should be able to understand that loyalty.

But if I had to pick, I'm going to pick the guy who I won the Super Bowl with.

Hilarious logic. At least he can admit he's biased, even though his reasoning makes absolute no sense in regards to the question of who's better.

Aqib, you won a SuperBowl in spite of Manning. You dragged him along to that SuperBowl win. He did next to nothing all year long.

I never won a Super Bowl with Tom.

Well Aqib, your choice to pūssy out 2 years in a row in the AFCCG sure didn't help.

I have very little problem with Talib choosing "who he won the SB with." To me, that seems reasonable.

What I have the problem with is his suggestion that Belichick somehow had different rules for Talib in terms of fighting than he did for all of the other players. That's completely ridiculous. To hear Talib explain it makes him sound insane.

Ummm no it doesn't. You could maybe argue who you think you like better, but to say a guy who was a passenger on his 2 SB wins is greater than the guy who had key roles in all 4 of his wins is moronic. Nothing reasonable with that statement.
