At least the b@stard who shot him is in custody and the weapon recovered at the scene. He'll have the rest of his life to remember what he did.

Seriously, wtf? You get rear-ended at a low speed, the worst possible damage is what, maybe you need a new bumper? Maybe you just deal with a scratched bumper? How does that incident escalate to "I'm so damn mad you scratched my mid 2000's Impala's bumper, I'm gonna get out of the car and shoot you and your wife"????? Just senseless... Condolences to Mrs. Smith and family... He was a great player.

The news is reporting that he was rear ended first, and exchanged words with the guy who hit him, who then pulled the gun and the trigger.

Road rage drives people to do some ****...I don't think this would be the first time someone sober shot someone over a minor car accident, if I recall correctly. Some people are almost definitely more predisposed than others to do such a thing, and drugs could always help, but I wouldn't be so quick to jump to that conclusion.
