did you eat a lot of lead paint chips when you were a kid?

Stupid, stupid Bungles.
When will Mike Brown learn that Marvin Lewis is a Loser, and will never, ever win even an AFCC, never mind a SB? And that Marvin tolerates, fosters and encourages too many players to behave like complete
feckin idiots at the worst possible times?

Indeed. I've been amazed that, under his tenure, the Bungles jerseys weren't changed from orange & black stripes to white & black stripes. More in keeping with the team's core philosophies, of course.

Marvin Lewis is 112 - 94 in the regular season, 34th all-time among NFL coaches. 13 years as head coach of the Bengals. Only two years under .500. 0-7 in the playoffs.

If the Bungles go 10-6 this year he vaults into 27th place passing coaches like **** Vermeil, George Allen, and Mike Ditka. After the Bengals go one-and-done in the playoffs, another 10 win season in 2017 moves him into the top 25 all-time.

Great news that this team will be mediocre at least until 2017... Complete with the "Red Rifle" @ QB....

Vontez Burfit will continue to face the "discriminatory" practices of the NFL, because of his "spirited play"..

The Bengals assigned Probation Officer is happy..

IDK, I think the opposite of most and I think this is a sign that the end is near for Lewis in Cincy.

There is an unwritten rule in the NFL that you don't let a head coach go into the season as a lame duck being in the last year of his contract. I know Chuck Pagano did that last year, but only because he rejected the Colts' one year offer and gambled on himself getting a long term deal (that paid off).

If the Bengals were all in on Lewis, they would have given him a deal far longer than one year. This tells me he is on the hot seat this year. Either he does something in the playoffs this year or the Bengals will eat the last year of his deal and let him go.

Blimey! Tough crowd.

I never thought that the Bengals were an organization built to win, but to spend the least possible and profit from the revenue-sharing. In that environment, and given that they play in the toughest AFC division, I think that his record is pretty good.

I dot see who would be a better choice. Lewis is a solid coach, Bengals could do a lot worse.
Matter of fact they have done a lot worse. Probably why he is still their coach.
