OT: Many moons ago I was driving down a winding two lane road near my home and I came across two teenagers on bicycles heading in the same direction and taking up both lanes. When I gave them a quick beep of the horn to let them know I was there one of them just sticks his hand up and gives me the finger.

They soon take a left and I follow and come up beside the bigger idiot, get his attention and start calling him out for being a dope. I then noticed that he was heading for a car parked on the left side of the street and was too busy talking crap back at me to notice. By the time his idiot friend yelled out to him to watch out it was too late. The kid ended up slamming into the back of the parked car and ends up splattered all over the trunk.

As I drove away laughing I gave the dope another quick beep and called him out for being an idiot. I still enjoy that great memory.

He is promoting respect for the police. It is no where near illegality.

I don't think he was hurt too badly and hopefully he did learn a lesson.

Over the years I've had a few experiences like that one, from both ends. In one case I caught up to a kid who pulled a prank on me while I was driving and through perfect timing and knowing the terrain, I caught the kid and had him cornered against a very tall wall. The kid handled it like a man and said, "go ahead man, hit me. I've got it coming." I respected the hell out of that kid and let him go.

Many years before that as young kids, a friend and I stood on opposite sides of a busy street and faked that we were holding a rope and were pulling it as a 50's Chevy full of older kids came barreling down the street. The driver's eyes almost popped out of his head as he came to a screeching halt, only to get laughed at by his buddies when we put our hands out to our side to show that we weren't holding anything.
