It's easy, and only takes a few moments. My buddy, who is a Green Bay Packer fan, basically reacted the same way (with much fewer F bombs). He thinks Chicago deliberately traded him out of the division and into the other conference so the Packers wouldn't get their hands on him. According to him, the Packers are always picking off talent from within their division.
I still cant believe we got this guy for almost nothing...
I might be wrong but I've always thought of the Packers as mainly, though not exclusively, a "home grown" team...maybe your friend is just frustrated that it hasn't worked out like he hoped the last couple of years or hasn't gotten over the botched onside kick in Seattle. Bottom line is that Aaron Rodgers is going to have to deliver them another championship to live up to the hype.My buddy, who is a Green Bay Packer fan, basically reacted the same way (with much fewer F bombs). He is probably more of a casual fan than he would like to admit - but that's what he said. How can you be a packers fan and make such a ridiculous statement. Did they get forte, marshall, suh, fairley or any player from that division in 10 years?
I'll ask him for some examples (EDIT: besides getting Julius Peppers from the Bears), but that's my impression of how the Packers build/manage their team as well. Maybe he was talking about JAG bottom-of-the-roster types/ special teamers, etc. Regardless, Bennett definitely doesn't fit that description.I might be wrong but I've always thought of the Packers as mainly, though not exclusively, a "home grown" team
