We're just shooting for night one, and there are obviously other ways to follow what's going on. There will be more to come, but I feel like we can gain some traction on this.
I love it!!! Finally we are doing something to hurt them back. I wish there was something more we could do. Maybe not watching a game? As hard as that would be, I absolutely would love to really show these bastards who pays the bills. I loath these greedy, "Nobody can touch us" scum. I'm in on any organized assault on these criminals.

It's going to be really hard to make a dent and prove it - but a protest like this is absolutley the best.

I say we should leave it at first night only though....I think a drop, off followed by increase in the Boston market could show what we are trying too.

Of course if it works, they probably will hide the results anyway.

Also, protesting any first night stadium events (if they even have them this year) would really be a great way to get press coverage.

Bump.

4 weeks away... Do you know what you won't be doing?

Blackout now and be a part of the largest do nothing campaign in New England's history since Michael Dukakis ran for President.

Now I feel like riding in a tank for some odd reason.

The plan was for night one and the first-round only, just for the sake of making it easy since there's no pick to be made and it should be easy for people to simply go on living their life that night ;)

Obviously the draft is one of the most important parts of the offseason and while I'll be planning on following it via Twitter on our end, it's hard not to stumble into articles written about players, etc. on ESPN.com when you're trying to research that player. Plus Mike Reiss makes that nearly impossible given his reporting value and the information he provides, so it's hard to really pull this off for longer than that.

This really wasn't meant to be a crazy movement, it's about a coordinated effort of doing something most of us should be anyway given the lack of a selection and the impact it can have both on-air and online. Some might think it won't accomplish much, but the online part is especially important, since it's actually possible to make both sites lose as much 7 figures. Granted that's not much when you're a billion dollar corporation, but that's enough to throw off their numbers enough where while it won't cripple them, it will sting, and that should be satisfaction enough given how this whole mess has continued to play out.

I don't think I will follow the draft at all this year. I will be surprised once training camp begins. I have no interest in supporting Goodell and his personal campaign to destroy the Patriot name.

Mike Reiss is the only reason I visit BSPN.

Noticed this appeared this afternoon:

Laquon Treadwell’s Long-Awaited 40-Yard Dash | The MMQB with Peter King

Whatever, thanks for linking it anyway, Mr. Klemko
I think we know we can't make a big difference. The NFL really doesn't care about the fans. But we all have to do what we think is right, and skipping Day One is right for me and many others.

I have saved several hundred dollars on Patriots hoodies this year. It's all I wear but I won't put money into the pit. Some needed refreshing this year, instead I got one of these :

Tom Brady - Together We Are Strong

and one of these :

BBF Official Hoodie

My doing this is less than a penny to the NFL but it's my little bit, I'm sure there's many others like me.

I havent done any mock drafts, I am not having my annual draft party, I will not watch the 1st round of the draft! I will instead be playing either Madden, MLB The Show, The Division, or Black Ops 3! BOYCOTT THE FIRST ROUND!!

I love the idea and think it should be coupled with a boycott of NFL goods. Every penny spent for jerseys, hats shirts etc..... Goes to the 32, I'll never buy anything that is sponsored by the NFL ever again, and all it takes is not giving them my money. Love the Patriots but I hate the league.

Watching the first round could be more comedy than drama. The teams that don't draft well tend to make the most noise: "We just picked our franchise player!"

I hope this boycott gets some national attention. This should really be a nationwide boycott. I know there's a lot of Pats haters out there but we all have a voice and a point should be made about making it clear to the NFL who pays their bills. This shouldn't be about this team's fans or that team's fans but fans of the game who are sick of the BS. They'll want our support eventually unless things change.

@Ian

Has anyone started a facebook group?

that would be a good way to keep track of the amount of people that will boycott it

We'll be promoting it more beginning on Monday. Opted to lay low this week considering what transpired with the lawsuit to try and make sure we didn't get lumped into that group. Planning on starting a blitz with it on Monday and will be directing people to our Facebook page

I've had you video on my FB page since you first showed it. Been talking it up with my friends here in MidCoast Maine. I figure that every one person helps. We might be 5 fingers, but if we close ranks together, we can make a fist.
