There is a winner and it is the Penn State Nittany Lions.

I feel for you.

These guys think you made a mistake:

I apologize. I let you down by being on vacation when this thread was started. But hey, grab a mirror and start practicing now, this is the PSU "Damn, Michigan did it to us AGAIN!!!" face:

ZOMBIE NATION!

Yea I did. Im a patriots fan that moved to FL...There is no place in the country where less football players come out of. Boston College is the only decent college football team in NE and they are normally mediocre at best for the most part. Face it New England is not know for its football prospects or college football whatsoever...

If it were not for college football in New England, then the game of football would not exist. "Face it" ya dope. Look up Harvard U.'s football history.

I cast my vote for UMass. Or, U. of Montana. Appalachian State? I considerably enjoy the 1AA games, and their playoff format is the only true representation of the NCAA championship for football.

This thread is still going ?

Penn State's white and blue is too close to the Colts for my liking :p
(Just kidding. I have friends & coworkers who are Penn State & Michigan fans and enjoy the banter.)

Also to the poster who said that Virginia Tech is a bunch of bandwagoners, you have no idea what you're talking about. You must be one of those UVA fans who wears a tie to their football games.

Though we lack the the tradition of some other schools (as our program was only really Bruce Smith before, oh... 1991), we are well known for bringing amazing attendance numbers to our bowl games... .whether they're in FL, NC, CA or AZ. The bowl supervisors LOVE our fans, even on years where we've had 3 or 4 losses. The attendance of our past 12 bowl games have been overwhelmed by the orange & maroon fans. Even last year's (very forgettable) game that was against Georgia and took place in Atlanta, we outnumbered the Georgia fans.

It's also fun to see our starting CB, WR, LB, and DEs out there on the kick block teams.

I can't wait for that LSU game. Beat 'em before when they were a much more talented, better coached team.

Anyway, I appreciate the talent, fanbase and tradition (big or small) all college football teams. Though I will heckle Miami, UVA, and West Virginia for all eternity.

IS IT FOOTBALL SEASON YET ?
