I guess you can argue that still means it is about the money, but it isn't what you meant. It could be truly be about the opportunity which ultimately is about the money in the future.

Yup, it's always about money

Knighton was also miscast in the 3-4, and didn't play that poorly in any case. He's effectively a poor man's Vince Wilfork, in that he's basically unblockable one-on-one in the run game and can create a push from the inside but will never be known as a strong pass rusher. He's an upgrade from Siliga and probably from Branch, as well.

Knight's big issue for his contract situation is that he's a nose tackle, and nose tackles are always undervalued because they don't put up big counting stats. There's absolutely no reason Ted Washington, the greatest nose tackle of all time, shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame, but he won't even sniff it.

Yea plus I read WAS wants to me more like a SEA attacking front. More 4-3 gap shooting so Pork Chop isn't really a fit. Ive scoured the Skins blogs and overall they had good things to say with the exception that he sometimes didnt play 100% and seemed to get tired easily. Overall people seemed pretty happy with him.

Anybody see this on Twitter?

Odd because that's what he was in Washington. But I guess Washington probably never used that word with him, whereas Bill or whoever told him straight up that they see him as a rotational just like every other DT.

He needs to get over himself. Knighton IS rotational. He's someone that will be on the field during running downs and off of it during passing situations. That is the purest definition of "rotational" there is.

If his ego is going to get in the way of him signing with us...then maybe it's best that we not even bother with him

Chris long signed a one year deal. He'll try to play well in 2016 and get a better long term next year.

His dad said he turned down more money to join the Pats. Howie isn't one to blow smoke..

Let's just let this play out...maybe he is just promoting something new for Bridgestone about a new tire that doesn't need to be rotated.
"Wow Terrance, with this new technology I guess you won't need that spare tire you've been carrying around."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm just... saying..."

Pot roast visited my family yesterday. Delicious...
