Von Miller - His 15 Minutes of Fame + Brady Insults

I have never seen an athlete savor his 15 minutes of fame like Von has.

He got shut down by Marcus Gilbert in the Steelers game, then demolished a backup RT in Marcus Cannon + a practice squad RT in Fleming in the following game, then Mike Remmers in the SuperBowl, who went undrafted and bounced between 6 teams in 2 years as he landed with the Panthers in 2014.

And that's assuming he didn't need PEDs to beat those guys.

I can't say I see that tweet is any sort of egregious insult.

Agree. And Brady initiated the exchange with his own post.

Given recent unpleasant exchanges between NFL players, both appeared very civil.

It was a pleasant/humerous exchange between two great athletes! You're really digging now!

Bit of a reach to call this an insult when Brady started the light ribbing and Miller's response was nothing but civil.

We have a bunch of winners here. Plus, the guy can talk as much **** as he wants. His team won the most recent Super Bowl and he was the MVP. Brady had an entire calendar year before that to do the exact same thing.

My initial thoughts when I saw the response:

1. Clearly Von Miller likes/respects Tom Brady and appreciates the rivalry.
2. Some ultra sensitive member on PatsFans will call out Von Miller and try to vilify him by starting a thread like this.

By insults, I think @CISGS was referring to the multitude of things Miller was saying before/mostly after the AFCCG against the Patriots (like wanting to rub his junk on him, claiming the ball he intercepted was deflated, etc.) - not that specific tweet/instagram post.

So are we really so sensitive around here that we don't realize this is light-hearted banter, that Brady initiated mind you, between two pros who obviously have a healthy respect for one another? I know some of you are going to point out the hit from a few years ago, but I don't even know if Brady remembers it. Lighten up. We still likely have the best overall team heading into the season and Von Miller's team doesn't have a QB. Who cares. . . lol

Miller dominated The game vs the Patriots. Sacked Brady 2 1/2 times, picked him off, and had about 20 pressures it seemed. Guy was a monster that game...i don't begrudge the guy a harmless back and forth w Brady...
People that got their panties in a bunch over this must be the krafty Bob guardians at the gate....

I don't really follow the 15 minutes of fame comment? Von Miller has made 4 all pro team, 4 pro bowl squads, won DROY, and won SB MVP. He as good a defensive player as there is in the NFL and has been since he came into the league.

I think you are being petty here, Brady started the interaction and what Von said was not disrespectful.

Doesn't matter how dumb he is or sounds, he is the champ and TB12 called him out with that one. Of course, a lunkhead like Miller is going to respond in kind. Not a big deal.
