Goodell rejects Kraft request

So who wants to pitch in for a message plane that reads "FU Kraft, Spineless ****y", to be flown over opening day?

Rumor has it the letter Bob wrote had already been buried-at-sea for a week before we even heard he had written it.

This is about as revolting as it gets. Science clears Brady and the Patriots. We still have a bunch of f*cking lawyers deciding whether he should be punished anyway. We lose draft picks with no apparent recourse. Goodell continues to operate with impunity and with the apparent approval of Bob Kraft.

Being a sports fan just f*cking sucks!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Well, Roger denied a politely worded request from Kraft after Kraft publicly stated that he was giving up the fight and that there would be absolutely no repercussions for failing to do right by him.

Might as well pack it in and concede the fight, Bob. Pretty sure that's all you've got in your arsenal for this particular battle.

I think that's why some of us are out when TB12 retires.

Every time now when I see Goodell's mug on television I feel a visceral revulsion. I want to take a baseball bat full swing at the bridge of his nose. This is not healthy.

This whole deal, and how Kraft responded to it, makes things for me so conflicting.

On one hand, it was incredibly cowardly, and He showed no true backbone for his best player, coach, and fans. Which is shameful.

But on the other hand, we're not even likely having this discussion if Bob Kraft never buys the team. There'd likely be no titles, and This site would be named Stallionfans.com

To me, this isn't about Kraft, the loss of draft picks or the fine. This whole fiasco is about the slandering of Tom Brady, who's one of the most respectable athletes ever to play professional sports. He's also as fine a young man off the field as he is on it. He's the closest thing to Bobby Orr that I've ever seen and has more class than all 31 NFL owners combined. I've never written a letter to any celebrity in my life, but if I do it will be to that young man's parents. They did an incredible job.
Yes, but it first and foremost is about Kraft bending over far enough to look behind him between his legs. He could've done a much better job of having Brady's back through all this.

Bob just keeps fumbling this thing at every turn and is why he needs to step aside and make Jonathan the franchise's mouthpiece. For him to court the press with news of this "letter" when he received a response two weeks prior is outrageously cynical to the point of dishonesty.

Yeesh....is that you Joker?

Argh, happens to me, too. It's Pavlovian.

Take it one step further, probably more about BB than #12, as he has been a thorn in the side of the NFL for 15+ years now, they cannot defeat him on the field.. so will try another strategy.

The acrimony toward BB by Goodell and his minions is palpable.. every year somehow, someway BB manages to say a huge FU to this corrupt organization.....

Just when you think Kraft can't look any more pathetic, you find out he can. Bob got it shoved up where the sun don't shine by his buddy the POS and doesn't even realize it
Holy schitski you're OBSESSED with your disdain for Robert Kraft. So much so that you childishly click on your little disagree button instead of responding with an intelligent post

I just looked through your last 100 or so posts and they're dominated by your dislike of Kraft.

But that's ok because he's around for years to come and there isn't a darn thing you can do about but sit and pout for the next decade or two! Ya baby!

When I heard Fraudell say that he responded to Kraft two weeks ago I was at first thinking the same thing, but then I realized who was saying it and decided that it's very possible he was lying.

Kraft values his membership in the Billionaire Boys Club more than we realized. His talk of the Patriots "family" is just that, talk. I'm not convinced that Jonathan is any different, but by the time he takes over I won't be a NYJFL fan anymore anyway, so I don't care.

Just keep on drinking the Kool aid. I don't dislike Kraft who is a good person . I just object to his actions since 2007 which undoubtedly have been detrimental to the team and its fans. Too bad you and a few of your obtuse comrades are too blind to see the difference. By the way I have followed the team since 1960, and Kraft is the best owner because he hired the best coach and had the best QB. I doubt seriously that Bob will be around for the next decade or two and hope his son does not have the same blindspot toward the POS. Is that a good enough response for you.

I'm sure that BB has ruffled some feathers. I also think Brady's public statement that he hates the Jets is at play.

Ok!! Now that I know we're close to the same age, you softened me.

I just don't get when people take the easy way and click on the disagree icon rather than taking the time to respond as you've finally done!

I understand your frustration, but my anger has been focused on Goodell and his staff. I don't have enough left to be angry with Kraft

Hopefully we don't get decimated by injuries again next year and shove it up Goodell's arse in SB51

PS: I gave up drinking in 1989....even Kool Aid!

I have two emotions here.
One realizes that " all it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing". Worse is that they may be complicit in letting evil (345 Park Ave is evil when it comes to framing the Pats) succeed by praising it, deciding its salary and refusing to appeal bogus penalties, accepting them, " for the good of the league".
The second one is not necessarily in conflict with the first. It is pity that something we care about deeply is being abused and the person being abused either doesn't know, doesn't care or is too scared to fight back against the bully...and will continue to be bullied... Like the aging superstar who played too long and lost their fastball, maybe it's time to step aside because it is not a pretty sight. None of us want to see our owner ( who kept the team in town when it could have left, who built a beautiful stadium and a dynasty...and made himself lots of $$$ because he risked a lot- no begrudging there) who we respected be abused and Mr. Kraft has been abused by Goodell and continues to be abused. It has to stop because it has ramifications for the on the field product be it suspensions, loss of draft picks, rule changes directed against the Patriots and who knows what other nefarious things go on behind the scenes. Will Jonathon be any different? Who knows but it is pathetic to see Robert Kraft "taken to the woodshed" repeatedly..by Goodell....
