Bad News for Kraft haters

Not once has anyone in this organization….owner, coach, QB….. screamed to high heaven…….WE DID NOTHING WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Instead, they delicately straddle the fine line of composure, deference, procedure…..which is telling. And because Brady has yet to pound the table while his reputation gets sullied and his legacy gets diminished …..one has to wonder why he/they don't have it in them to be more vocal. Their lack of fortitude to stand up for themselves and proclaim their innocence while waiting on a procedural victory…….beyond puzzling. If your innocent, you scream it and you rip apart Goodell and his henchmen and you show no mercy…..especially during this appeals process. Give these judges something to chew on while they're weighing procedure.
Or maybe they're guilty

You want me to leave you alone but post in threads I start.....given the topic, it is simply amazing you could not muster the strength to avoid it.....if I'm obsessed, you are the weakest person here
@Ian it just doesn't end

And that appeal would have been rejected by the league in a second.

So the f.ck what? You do it anyways to show that you actually give a crap about your team. You do it anyways so that people can't say "Obviously NE deflated the balls. Even the owner knows it. That's why he 'accepted' the penalty and didn't try to challenge it in any way whatsoever." You do it anyways to make sure you keep open the chance to go to court in case something eventually comes out that give you a decent shot.

Yes it is definitely is indicative of innocence to yell from the rooftops to schmucks in the media like Vollin than to profess your innosence under oath. Oh wait..

You've been reading the Manning playbook a bit too much

It is delusional to believe there was any other outcome here .... I understand the disappointment of the dog and pony show that's been displayed, but in case you haven't realized, that's all it ever is when the intended outcome is so obvious

If your saying that a pointless fit of rage is what you're hoping for, that's pretty sad

Lmao.....this is total Bullsh.t. you started this thread for exactly that reaction and even admitted it in response to another poster.

That was actually an afterthought, but it sounded good when I thought of it

The real point was to shine the light on misplaced anger......the most emotional thing here has nothing to do with football

We don't know what happened behind the scenes, its obvious this was orchestrated by group of owners sick of losing to the Pats and they used Roger as the front man, as much as I hate Roger he just doing what he's told.
I'm disappointed Bob K didn't appeal from the get go but he messed up, he knows it but he can't go back in time. It might not have mattered but it also might have, we'll never know. I've moved on, not wasting my energy on this crap anymore. We got ****ed and Brady might get ****ed too, only recourse is to beat them on the field and hoist another Lombardi.

I would think that the Patriots could get a stay, meaning that losing the draft pick would cause irreparable harm, so the court would force the NFL to reinstate the pick while the whole matter was adjudicated.
There are many thing the NFL does which the FBI should get involved into.

There is an appeal process that that sailed almost a year ago.... At this point, it would be surprising that a court would even hear it

People can spout about possibilities, but the only factor that provides any insight is the manner in which Brady was railroaded....the whole thing was a bag job with an intended outcome from the outset ..... This thing caught both Brady and Kraft off guard and they got played .... Beyond that, there are more in this country who prefer the pats being bashed rather than a just outcome

The only thing left is to persevere in the field

What lumps....he's a billionaire who's not taking any lumps

There's no investment .... It's entertainment

It is an investment of time and passion. Never mind tickets and clothing and tv viewership, all of which he profits by.

When a bully kicks sand in your face, rolling over and pretending it didn't happen just encourages him to do it again.

Who cares if there was little or no chance to get the picks back? You fight hard anyhow, because the next time they want to <mess> with you, they'll remember the hell you put them through the last time and maybe think twice.

Sounds good in the street, but nfl owners group doesn't work that way

I understand what it's like to be accused of something you never did, resulting in a dumbstruck response to said accusations.

In these situations, I have both confronted and fought (mostly figuratively, once literally) the person and have also tried my best to ignore the accusations. When dealing with someone with more power than you, both responses are almost always a losing battle (even if you win a fight, you can most certainly still end up doing more damage to your reputation and well-being e.g. Al Davis and drunk frat boys).

I think the biggest (or only) sin that Bob committed was not being proactive - "Fool me once...." After Spygate, he should have known the patriots were treated unfairly, and should have been ready for more unreasonable accusations from the NFL. Sure, the pats taped from the wrong spot. They did commit a foul, as minor as it was, so they had to own up to it. But the punishment should have raised every single eyebrow in the organization.... we were punished worse than the Broncos after their cheating in '96-'98 apparently coincided with 2 super bowl wins.

I think the only way Kraft, Belichick and the rest of the organization were proactive was by being more conscious of the rules - worrying about their side of things, not how to prevent the unreasonable actions of the NFL. I don't know how anyone could have been prepared for the ******** that the NFL invented.

Yes, Kraft had absolutely no backbone, and was too trigger shy to stand up for people he trusts. So, how do you confidently defend the actions of a whole organization of people without knowing absolutely no one did anything wrong...... I'll tell you how, you pay millions of dollars to investigate and find out exactly what happened. Luckily, the NFL did that for him, and he hasn't run with all the information he was given.

Without defending or condemning RK, I feel like Goodell committed murder, Kraft was left holding the gun, and then he shot himself in the foot to boot (no pun intended). He knew he was fighting a losing battle, and he fought it the wrong way.

Bob's the owner and ultimately the blame should fall on him, but it pisses me off that Goodell was able to make us Patriots fans ashamed of our own organization for completely made up circumstances.

I think to make up for this, the NFL should take away every team's first round draft pick next year, and we all just start off in the second round.

As someone stated on here, Goodell works for Kraft. demand to see the findings of PSI.
I posted that in another thread, so when Kraft says, per Wetzel ""They have results," Kraft said on Monday. "But for whatever reasons they haven't shared them with any of us."
The proper response to that is to say and loudly,
" This is bulls@it, you work for us. I want the f'n data, ALL of it and I want it now....."Let
Goodell know who is boss, not the other way around.................man up for Pete's sake and be the alpha dog...
Bob, it's better to be feared than loved.......being loved isn't working.

Krafts continue to hang a KICK ME sign on the franchise

By meekly acquiescing to the unprecedented penalties for doing NOTHING they encourage the bullies
The 31 know they have a soft target

So...what's NEXT???

It isn't going to happen but being that the punishments were levied about 9 months ago, I am sure we are still well within the Statute of Limitations to file suit.

However, the NFL would immediately file a Motion to Dismiss based on the agreement not to sue, in which case it would be up to the court to decide how to proceed.
