Not releasing or fudging the numbers have the same results. Both allow the "patriots cheated" mantra to continue while fudging adds the additional risk of damaging the league's aura of "integrity".

WTF is Bob talking about? I don't think this was a "personal" issue between Goody and Bob. It was an issue that Goody and the NFL got out over their skis and f-ed up and let the Pats twist in the wind. To keep this BS charade going it was a business decision. Bob needed to respond in a business-like manner. He chose to play the angry old man and Goody told him to go f- himself.

If Kraft wanted to really fight this, he'd sue the league, and file an injunction that prevents the NFL from holding the Draft.

And he'd do this on the morning of the Draft.

That would be interesting if a judge granted a temporary injunction, it would mess the whole coriographed event up.
