Ravens and Crybaugh still salty

Dumbass doesn't even know his own rule.

At the risk of sounding like I'm defending the Ravens, most info indicates that they're trolling the league with this obvious overreaction of a suggestion because when they tried to copy this play idea they got flagged for the player failing to properly report, as seen in the video above. They felt like the official just ignored or missed the player who he "looked right at him" when he reported in Harbaugh's words, ergo this rule proposal.

They still suck for even copying the play and I hate their coach and organization, but let's not pretend like we wouldn't be all LOLOL BB IS GOD if he did this.

Bring on the dislikes!

Ummmm...if BB did this I'm pretty sure everyone would be calling for ambulances to take him to Mass General because he must have had a stroke.

No one would think that, because it's clearly not a serious rule change proposal. There'd be multiple threads in the vein of "BB gives Goodell middle finger!" And that's okay, it would be funny because BB is our beloved curmudgeon with a wry sense of humor.

The reason what the Ravens are doing here looks stupid is because they've routinely been whiny, humorless, petty, and charmless as an organization.

Ummm. No. How you still think that is mind boggling. I'd quit while you are ahead.

Well if they were trolling like you say they were they did a terrible job of it. And if BB did this after being angry about a legal rule, I would call him a hypocrite. I remember Harbaugh after the Divisional round saying something like, "It's never happened before. The league will look into it". You mean to tell me a guy like THAT would be smart enough to "troll" a league that already has bad principles and rules in place? Sure, the refs may have been wrong in that instance as well but that doesn't mean Harbaugh is right to complain, ESPECIALLY after doing the same thing to score a 1st quarter TD against the Raiders. He needs to have some type of tact. If letting a LT run a route and catch a pass isn't deception, then I'm lost here.

You would think they would be embarrassed to submit this rule.

haha yup... you know those times when you're at an event or gathering and someone does something so embarassing/awkward that you literally feel embarrassed yourself for them...

That's the Ravens right now

I don't disagree that it's stupid, misplaced, and a bad look coming from them, about this rule especially. It's just that everyone seems to be taking this as a serious rule change proposal, ignoring the fact that the Ravens has other incident(s) with the ineligible rules post-2014 playoffs, and I disagree with the interpretation that they are genuinely suggesting that this happen.

Instead of making the players look silly by wearing these silly pinnies, why doesn't Harbaugh just coach his players the rules of the game. How hard could it possibly be? This is football - not rocket science.

I hadn't thought of the possibility that it was so over the top that they may just be trolling, so you may be right about that. Either way, it's still a bad look for Harbaugh, whose apparent attempt at humor will go unnoticed by many fans. To take it one step further, he looks like a complete douche for wasting everyone's time with the proposal itself.

Honestly though, wouldn't it be something if the Pats busted out another weird formation or eligible receiver trick play during this season's upcoming matchup down in BAL? That would be priceless.

I think if you murder someone maybe you should declare that

I beg to differ. The entire Ravens organization and their fans are absolutely, collectively, a steaming pile of fermenting dung that has no soul and are not bright enough to wipe their dripping noses and foaming mouths.

I think Harbaugh had his team practicing against this play and they weren't getting it. He finally put a vest on his eligible players and the D finally said "ah, ok". So there it is.

p.s. Love the "crack CryBaughs head open and let BB out" comment.
