This is a really good fit. He hasn't been good enough to get a clear starting role with somebody, but has been good enough to fill in for a few games if needed and versatile enough to play somewhere on defense even when Hightower and Collins are healthy.

Now sign Collins and Hightower and get a deep threat Washingon or otherwise.
Resign Blount best option on market then off to the draft.

Jelly-of-the-Month Club - the gift that keeps on giving..

I absolutely love the move and to be perfectly honest, I love the way the Patriots have handled this offseason, especially knowing they've been screwed by a corrupt commissioner.

Bears fans saying he sucks... Which is ironic given the fact that they just signed a guy for $5m per from the Pats that sucked before he came to NE and became a beast

Well there's the backup LB everyone's been clamoring for.

Have a feeling with what we've done in Free Agency so far, this draft is going to be offense heavy, at least in the 2nd round.

Fair to say this is an upgrade from Dane Fletcher...
Some mild insurance should their plans with Hightower not work out.
Nice work. What a fascinating 48 hours.

Completely misused in Chicago his first few seasons and that stunted his development. He was decent as ILB last year.

How are any of the draft picks even going to make the team? I suspect Bill is on his way home for a rumble in the sheets, a sammich, and a long nap before trading all over this year and next year's drafts.

Decent pickup. Cant be worse than what we had after Hightower and Collins last year but if things go to plan next season he likely only sees the field for 30% snaps. Will be a utility backup.

All I'm hearing from Bears fans is that he sucks but they wish nothing but the best for him. I doubt he would be better than Freeney but we will see.

They need at least one, and maybe two DTs as well.
