Patriots trade for TE Martellus Bennett!

Anyone have any details on how he wore out his welcome in Chicago ? On the field he's certainly someone we'll love having.

Reports of being unhappy with his contract and so not giving maximum effort on the field, also unhappy that he's playing second fiddle to Zach Miller who managed to stay healthy and produce. Basically character issues.

We swapped our 4th rounder for their 6th rounder is what I heard.

Double team Gron and Edelman if you must but beware with Bennett the Pats offense just got a whole lot better.

We're giving up our (late #4), getting back a 6. Hopefully Chicago's early 6 (1oth in round), they have some late ones also.
