Chandler Jones Traded

one of those moves that just had to happen.

Chandler, when he showed up was a beast. the issue was he didn't show up very often, and was a liability in the run game.

Good to see we got some decent value out of him.

Really a win win for two contenders. Jones goes to a team on the rise, and the patriots get to keep their window open a little longer.

works for me

No way BB would tolerate that crap of getting high as F in a playoff week, thanks Jones for your services but go vanish after week 8 somewhere else.

2 second round picks, I like BB chances of getting some talent or moving up in the draft with those.
That's the first thing that came to mind for me as well..

I AM ****ING LIVID

WHAT THE HELL

A CENTER!?

A guard. They were considering moving him to center this year. His contract is also up at the end of the year (5th year option wasn't exercised), so he'll be a free agent next year.

I'm a bit surprised. Would have thought Jones for another year was happening.

Wish that 2nd was a bit higher, but if the player fits, it might be ok.

Wow, I didn't think they'd get a 2nd round pick for him, let alone Cooper. He's had some injury issues since he was drafted and is immensely talented. Hopefully Scar can turn him into a stud. Either way, the 2nd rounder is very nice. Assuming they bring in Chris Long now.

Loved Chandler Jones but this was an obvious move, and a good one!
Ditto. Jones was a very good player and a good guy.( one little blip for which you could tell he felt very badly about).Collins hightower butler are all more important. But now we need grissom flowers to step up. Nink is getting old and I like shears but not surehow he'll hold up if he's on for 90% if snaps

Not Chandler Jones! What?! d%#*!@t Bill!!

Back to the days of mediocre pass rush I guess :(

cooper was the 7th over all pick for the cards back in 2013 so he has not lived up to the hype but should still be a upgrade for the pats, not happy about lossing the top pass rusher but its not like a seymore type trade the pats still have a few good pass rushers on the team hope they get one of the top RB's with that draft pick

So essentially we traded a 1st rounder for a 2nd rounder? I don't get it?

Cooper came out of college as excelling in zone blocking ... which is our system.

We couldnt get one of Arizonas receivers?

BB just keeps punishing me a Team loaded with WR and we couldn't even fetch John Brown.:(:p

I really like the move. Picking up a solid pick and a tempting reclamation project is great. I am most encouraged by more money being available to extend Hightower, Butler, and Collins now.

I assume it's a 2016 pick?
