Hah hah hah. Gimme a break, man: April Fool's isn't for 3 weeks.

Wait...

No...

Freaking...

Way.

Maybe it's the beginning of their Suck For DeShaun Watson Campaign? :p

Pats havent done much in free agency and yet their chances of getting HFA just jumped through the roof this offseason. Top two teams really to threaten them are denver and cinci.

well, cinci lost two of their receivers, and denver has had an exodus of good players to other teams and mr buttfumble at QB...

As many times as I've seen and watched GIF loops of the Buttfumble (it has to be in the thousands now), for the life of me, I STILL cannot figure out what the HELL he was doing there. What in God's name was the plan? There was no running lane whatsoever. At all. Dude just tucked the ball, lowered his helmet, and ran as fast and as hard as he possibly could into the back of his O-Lineman's ass. I love the amount of shame he immediately felt as well as he lowered his helmet and rested it on the ground while Gregory scooped up the fumble and took it to the house. It instantly sank in what happened.

Your new starting QB for the Denver Broncos is..... Mark Sanchez

Butt fumbles all around!!!!

According to Mike Klis, the Broncos have traded for him in exchange for a conditional draft pick.

Bottom line: DEN gave up something- in terms of picks/players -to end up with Sanchez instead of Osweiler...not where they thought they'd be dealing from.

So, they gave up what will almost certainly be a later round conditional draft pick, in an attempt to improve their backup QB situation. This is a story, why?

Is it because some think that Denver will pass up all other options and actually use him as a starter? GTFO. I don't know if they'll be stuck with Fitzpatrick or Kaepernick, or some other traded QB, but it's unlikely to be Mark Sanchez.

"To the victor go the spoils", just hit the shytter.. maybe he can show them the "Mile High Buttfumble"...

supposedly They are unwilling to pay fitzpatrick what he wants and Kaepernick wants to go to the browns for some reason....so they may be stuck with him.

My friend is a big Broncos fan, talked to him yesterday. He said that they are basically punting this year, hoping the D carries them, but that next year they have ridiculous cap space opening up (like nearly 100 million), and they plan to do another push then. Given that they won the SB with a scarecrow at QB last year, it isn't a crazy option to not break the bank on QB.

They let Trevathan go to the bears for 7M/yr yet he was the #1 & #2 overall postseason tackler 2013 & 2015. Not the same D without him imo.

Oh I like this idea.

This is all very funny and Sanchez gave me many laughs over the years, including the most hilarious Thanksgiving memory of my life with the Butt Fumble, but I'm going to be contrarian here just a bit and point out that Sanchez was put into the middle of multiple media circuses in New York (Tebow plus Wrecks...Wrecks...Wrecks year after year).

Yet, somehow, he's managed to translate what we would all agree would politely be described as a modest level of talent into what Spotrac reports as $69.7 million of Career Earnings, before his Denver gig. It also makes you wonder how he might have done with consistent, smart coaching.

In other words, there is another perspective to this that says it's Sanchez who is doing the laughing...all the way to the bank.

Elway just needs a game manager and the team will be very successful, signing Sanchez was a good move.

No girlfriend? Maybe due to those weird hairstyles and "douchebaggy" attitude? Didn't he wear some type of weird headband for awhile, there? What the hell was up with that?

I don't know if signing Sanchez as a bona fide starter would be considered a good move, but giving up a conditional 7th round draft pick to improve your QB depth chart is a very smart decision, particularly when you have Trevor Siemian as your current quarterback.

No girlfriend?
You got to hand it to Sanchez, using his first press conference in a new city to tell all the women that he's single is a veteran move!

Hopefully he picks one of legal age this time (ref: Jets Suck thread).
