Clarity on Eric Weddle’s next destination coming this week: tw.nbcsports.com/epK

As noted by Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune, Weddle has four offers on the table. Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Weddle has decided to keep the identity of all interested teams secret.

Two of the offers are expected to be rejected without a counter, reducing the final field to two franchises. Apparently, Weddle’s discretion is aimed at ensuring fans and players on teams that are (or aren’t) in the hunt won’t react negatively toward that franchise (or, possibly, to him) once he chooses another destination.

Mike Reiss put in his notes that Steelers CB Antwon Blake is visiting this weekend. Hadn't seen it posted anywhere.

More players should actually do things this way honestly. Otherwise you end up with guys getting tons of backlash for not signing with certain teams from fans.

OAK and Pitt the final two is my prediction

Amendola isn't getting cut. If he is I swear on my honor as an internet poster that I will never post on patsfans.com again.

I'll bet everyone $50 in monopoly $$ he doesn't get cut

I'm pretty sure he's going to Pittsburg.

Even w/ Chris Hogan signing, it doesn't sound like the #Patriots are completely ruling out Anquan Boldin. It will come down to $, of course.

Have no idea who this guy is or if he is legit or not

If Amendola was gonna be cut he would have been with LaFell
I do not think that is true. I think they felt as though they had LaFell replaced with Dobson and Martin on the roster. If they now feel Hogan can replace Amendola he would be gone. They did not give Hogan $7.5M in guaranteed money to be anything less than the #3 WR.

I tend to agree. I think they want DA back and feel that he can play with Hogan at the same time....for the right price.

Man I like the way he goes about his business. Respectful, thoughtful and not trying to intentionally string anyone along. Just wants to get the right deal with the right team.

Do we know if NE is on weddle's list?
