I'm not against this, but can we please bring in someone with some size so Brady has some room for error with his downfield passes. And before everyone comes in saying we have Gronk, I know he's on the team, but I cringe everytime he makes a reception up the seam and a safety comes out of nowhere trying to blow his knee out.

Hogan has some beef to him.
Why? I'm sure there are currently better WR options..
He is relatively young (27), has played well against the Pats in the past and should probably come cheap hopefully. Pats need depth and competition for TC.

Kerly would be perfect if the Patriots had to play themselves.

Are people assuming Hogan is short because he's white? We just signed a tall receiver.

Yeah but, he's white. Therefore he can ONLY play the slot.

No. That has nothing to do with it. What if he gets hurt or doesn't gel with Brady. Then were right back to Dobson injuring himself and double clutching every pass that comes his way.

But let's just forget the coverage he had on Lynch that forced Wilson to throw wide on 3rd down on the drive right before the Pats had the go ahead TD in the SB...
You and I both know, when trying to make a point, people tend "remember" the negatives.

By the way, anyone else worried about LB depth? Would be nice to have a 3d good linebacker that can step up in a time of need. Last season we really struggled when one of the two top dogs wasn't available.

I've been saying from the beginning that LB depth is a bigger concern than WR depth and that was before we signed Hogan. SO yeah, I agree.

I'd prefer Rod Streater. He has experience and has done well before he got hurt. He has good hands (LaFell == drops) and is a bit tall, 6'3".

Don't know what happened to his Patriots visit?

never mind.

Free agent receiver Rod Streater is heading to Kansas City.

Streater has reached an agreement on a one-year deal with the Chiefs, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The contract could pay him up to $4.8 million.

The 28-year-old Streater, who spent the first four years of his NFL career in Oakland, visited the Jets and Patriots before agreeing to terms with the Chiefs.

After making the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in 2012, Streater had a very good rookie year, with 39 catches for 584 yards and three touchdowns. His second season was even better, with 60 catches for 888 yards and four touchdowns. But a foot injury limited him to just three games in 2014, and he played in only one game in 2015.

Ugh the Ravens are trying to get Wallace for Jump Ball Joe.

It is a really smart move or trying to get him is. That's what he is...go deep and go get it. That's the Ravens O. Joe"Throw it up and hope for the best"Flacco needs a WR like that. And he can be that guy

Once Wallace got released i said immediately...Ravens

That Jumpball Joe BS needs to stop. It won't and the Ravens will be in the AFC playoff picture once again.

Such a disgusting brand of football.

He's the only guy "reporting" this so take it with a grain of salt.

Ravens are masters at somehow getting Ws that they shouldn't be sniffing. Again a lot of it due to that jump ball crap. I bet Ravens fans love it too and think it works all the time. If Brady was doing this..all of us would hold our breaths and pray everytime he did it.

I've mentioned looking at Zack Brown.. I think he'd be a great replacement for Mayo..

The guy I like is Henderson from the jets/vikings. has played inside and outside in 3-4 and 4-3 alignments.
